Ravel Morrison (Only football related)

I can't even work out what's going on now and what's supposedly old news from that article. Is the complaint from the family of the witness intimidation case again? Seems all along they were unhappy that he didn't get sent to jail originally, no doubt trying again to get him in trouble further. I reckon a chance encounter with the "victim" which they'll try to paint as harassment or something along those lines.
That's how I interpreted it too.

The MEN today:

'He attended Swinton police station voluntarily, by appointment, with his solicitor.

He was accused of visiting Pendleton College, which is attended by the teenage witness who Morrison had admitted to intimidating in a separate case.

It is understood the victim's family complained to the police, alleging Morrison had been seen outside the college and had attempted to approach the teenager.

He was not arrested but was asked to sign a harassment letter explaining the seriousness of harassment and telling him he would be in trouble if he was found to be committing the offence.

The MEN understands that Morrison denied any improper behaviour.

Signing the letter is not an admission of guilt.'

Mirror reporting it now!
Manchester United news Starlet Ravel Morrison has had third run-in with the law in 12 months - News - MirrorFootball.co.uk

Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison has been questioned by police after allegedly harassing a teenager.

The England youth *international was asked to sign a harassment order after his third run-in with the law in a year.

Morrison, 18, is under a 12-month referral order after admitting in January that he intimidated a witness. He was told he would be locked up if he offended again.

But four months later he was fined £600 for *criminal damage caused during a bust-up with his girlfriend.

He was asked to sign the order – which is not an admission of guilt – after being accused of trying to approach a teenager involved in his intimidation case.

He attended Swinton police station in Manchester voluntarily by appointment.

Morrison, who is said to have denied improper behaviour, is tipped to break into the first team this season.

He sounds like a feckin nutter. He has been given a real opportunity to make it as a professional footballer and he's quite literally throwing it all away. Wouldn't surprise me if he's counting bars soon enough, it would sadly be another case of wasted talent.

So he can't go anywhere near the college? As someone mentions above it's just as likely it was a chance encounter than anything devious on his part.

David Gill on Ravel

There was always no doubt that the Club will support him but nice to see it getting official by Gill.

The problem is that there are things the club can't support - so eventually it all comes down to Ravel.

Why can't we sort this kid out? SAF must be going soft in his old age if he can't put the fear of God into Ravel. Sack Fergie hire Keane.

The more I think about it - the more I understand how difficult Morrison will be for United and Ferguson.

He is the kind of player you cant loan out to another club - the risk of something going wrong would probably be too big for the club to dare doing that. United probably want him closely supervised until they know he can be 100% trusted.

They can't let him play for United too early - simply because that will create extra media attention (esp if he does well)- and I doubt that is what Ferguson wants Ravel to have.

Send him on loan to an Ecuadorian team he'll soon come back with a new prospective off life.

Being someone who doesn't see the reserves is he really all that as a player or is it more media hype?

Where has he been during the pre season? I don't think he's featured in one game.

No - he is better! IMO - the most skilled footballer United has produced since Giggs!

I rate Morrison up there with McEachran and Wilshere

Included in our squad for Scholesy's testimonial

Brilliant! Looking forward to it, hope he gets some minutes on the field. Really impressed by him in the FA Youth Cup last year.

Hope he can take in the occasion and see what he could accomplish by applying himself like Scholesy did.

Yeah good point. Cocks in.

Yeah no need to be too optimistic - everything with 2 legs is on that list :)

With it being a testimonial and two days before the charity shield, I would have thought they would be involved (youngsters). It would certainly be a wasted opportunity

Ravel Morrison back in #mufc reserves squad for tonight's game against Llanelli. Ben Amos and Souleyman Mamam also included

Definite good news. Look like his absence was due to injury(I'm only assuming btw).
