Do you still not see it @Andycoleno9?
What you described, if you can do more frequently, we will automatically become better and he will score. That's a pivotal aspect of the game.Had a good game, sloppy start but really grew in to it. Hopefully he continues to get better at holding the ball up and spinning his defender, when he does that we look very dangerous, with his pace and Garnacho/Rashford flanking him.
BoomOk. Tell me then where exactly is that big potential and talent in him. Seriously, that "potential and talent" is repeated 100 times already. And please, please, don't start with quick and strong.
Absolutely, I think Ruud will drill it into him to be honest, he used to do a lot of that himself. He needs backing and playing for full 90’s to get his stamina up.What you described, if you can do more frequently, we will automatically become better and he will score. Ruud was amazing, Drogba was fantastic at it. I hope he watches a lot of tape of these strikersAbsolutely, I think Ruud will drill it into him to be honest, he used to do a lot of that himself. He needs backing and playing for full 90’s to get his stamina up.
Because of the strength and control of your body required, things like this and hold-up play are the last things strikers tend to develop. It's quite common for pure run-in-behind poacher type strikers to do well from a young age, but I'm struggling to think of many strikers who were regularly outmuscling or spinning PL CBs, or holding the ball up with a good success rate at 20 or 21.Ruud was amazing, Drogba was fantastic at it. The hope is that since his frame is big, Hojlund could be better at it despite his age. However it is as much about strength as intelligence so he should naturally improve with games.Because of the strength and control of your body required, things like this and hold-up play are the last things strikers tend to develop. Ruud and Drogba were playing in the second tiers of Dutch and French football for Den Bosch and Le Mans at Hojlund's age. The people writing Hojlund off because he doesn't look like them in their prime yet are mental.
Yup, top quality finish that.Boom
That’s the potential people see today. And saw last season. Its certainly there.Yup, top quality finish that.
Yes, was thinking exactly that, bullied the cbs and a lovely finish. Now that was the performance of a striker who is being coached by Ruud. Hold up play and a great finish
