Not having people rewrite that Varane hasn’t been good for us since joining. Certainly not “Champions League Varane” but he’s been far and away our best CB in his time here
Varane, what a rock. After that disasterclass at Copenhagen he’s come back with a point to prove. He should be the first CB on the team sheet. Don’t let him go in January.

People have goldfish memories, same with Cas. A handful of games off form and they want them all sold, utterly bizarre since both in any kind of form are still our best two players.
The idea they both suddenly turned from brilliant to shit in the space of one Summer is stark raving bonkers.
He played very well. Exactly the sort of thing he was brought in to do.
Absolutely bossed it at the back. Both our centre back veterans did pretty well actually but Varane was MotM for me.
Varane and Casemiro were two of our best players last season. Some people have memories of goldfish.
Just shows Ten Hag is holding the team back by falling out with players who could help. Could have played more in the past few months.

I think it was actually incredibly Maguire at his best like. Loads of clearances out of the box being the main takeaway
