Selling Smalling was a mistake for sure, a very good defender whose only major weaknesses were not being an incisive and sexy passer.

Honestly, would be delighted to have him back. Injuries are a problem but as a 3rd center back, you are not going to do any better than him. Absolutely colossal performance today.
