Yeah, that was my fear on seeing his reaction. It's a bad injury and he is definitely missing the world cup, let's hope we have him back for the second half of the season.

I think his reaction says it all. He knows he's out of the WC. If it was just out of this game he wouldn't be crying. Unless he crying that he's injured again? We will hear more soon.

It's just our (and Varane's) luck. He's been so good and this happens. I guess it's something you can always expect with him. Shame really.
He definitely put his hand to his hammy going down and a Chelsea player was indicating it was a hammy when the physio was on.

I’ve just watched a replay and it actually looks like his right ankle.
Initially it made me selfishly angry that he is injured once again, but for him to potentially miss the World Cup must feel terrible for him. I really hope it's not as bad as it looks for his and our sake.
