Ralf Rangnick | ex-interim manager | does anyone rate him?

Does he though? He's got experience at getting small clubs to a certain level but he's never worked at a club as big as ours before. Just as has proven on the pitch what's to say he's not just all talk when it comes to his upcoming consultancy role?
We will never know re his consultancy. In my opinion, he will marginalised anyway as these clowns wouldn't want to hear from anyone who is openly criticising them and is a straight talker.

Ralf has called out the inadequacies of the club. He has exposed the issues we have and he is telling it like it is. Feck the board and feck these players.

Yeah boy. We see through the B.S

These players are trash and most need replacing.

It's a managers job to get his messages across to the players. It's clear Rangnick struggles at that and it could be a reason why he's never really excelled at a high level in coaching. I have no doubt he's a sharp football mind.

Don't think we have ever had a manager criticise us so openly, I am glad he's exposing us but I am surprised no one is holding him back.

Best post match Interview in years. Don’t blame him. Blame the club.

How many games Varane missed?

Thanks for that Ralf I had no idea that's what we needed I thought we were perfect as we are
Why the sarcasm? We have obviously known this for years. He needs to say it out in the open because maybe then the fecking owners will actually listen

Hes won less than Ole

What sort of straws are you clutching to come out with dimwit statements trying to provide credence to the Norweigen fecking league over taking Hoffenheim, Shalke and RB Leipzig levels above.

Now I've really heard it all.
It’s a simple fact. I appreciate facts may be difficult for you to comprehend.

He just said playing high up the field wasn't part of the plan and yet the defensive line was at the half way line when we conceded the first goal.

The players are not listening to him or the players are idiots.

They know he'll feck off by the end of the season so they're letting him live the moment.

This consultancy role will be probably like :

- Ralf, what do you think we should do ?
- I think we should ...
- Thanks but your opinion is rejected. What next ?

And there you have it, right from the horses mouth 'we have to accept it' if that's the message he's sending out to the players no wonder we're getting served the shit we are every game

When it comes to the XI players crossing the line being 6 years behind them in terms of development doesn't even matter anyway, if we're 6 years behind them then how far are someone like Brighton who managed to go and get a draw at Anfield?

Ralf on Liverpool being 6 years ahead of us and admitting that Liverpool are fitter than us because of the way they train, so they don't get more injuries than us.

Not one fecking player is performing. Something is massively wrong behind the scenes. Either his training and tactics are shite, or he’s managed to lose the entire dressing room. Something has happened.

We look conference level under Rangnick.

We were shite even before he came.

Ole lost the dressing room, now rangnick has lost it aswell in the space of a few months. Its safe to say the players occupying the dressing room are the culprit.

Go on keep on blaming the manager. NO MANAGER PAST OR PRESENT CAN MAKE THESE PLAYERS INTO WORLDBEATERS, THEY ARE MENTALLY WEAK AND TECHNICALLY INEPT.

Didn't he say we were no more than three transfer Windows to being back at the top very recently?

Ask the players.

Manager not allowed to buy or sell players, players not listening to the manager yet its the managers fault ? :wenger:
He's pretty much had one hand tied behind his back the entire time he's been in charge.

There's a real lack of understanding from some of our fans regarding his position. He was the best available for the Interim role, he is a decent manager no more, no less. I said from the start I was more excited about him in the Consultancy role.

We didn't lose today because klop outwitted rangnick in a tightly contested game through some clever tactics. We lost because our players didn't even try and that is criminal and you cannot put it on the manager.

He specifically called out the way they recover and the way they try to keep themselves fit. Perhaps even questioned the mentality.

So many people on here act like ralf saying we are terrible proves why he was a good appointment which is a bizarre state of affairs. Sure he has had a very difficult gig but it's not like he has had no opportunity to improve things. He has had a very easy run of games until recently and almost every player has got worse under his management. He has tried so many different tactical setups which haven't worked and repeatedly selected underlerforming players. I have low expectations but even by those standards he is underperming

It's the Ole inners who are still blaming Ralf. He is calling out as it is. He is absolutely spot on. Sell most of them. Who trained this lot for the past three years? He didn't even get a pre season to get them fit.

It's his job to get them on his side and make them listen. It's what great managers do. The players are of course at massive fault for our problems this season but he isn't very good as a manager. Both things can be true. I'm hoping he has real input once he moves into this consultancy role because like I said I believe he's got the right ideas.

‘Ralf who should we sign?’
‘There is a promising youngster, Florián Wirtz who will be a good player and also increase in value but he will need intensive coaching…hello are you listening?’
‘Sorry Ralf, just had Mino text me and he told us he’ll give us a deal, can you believe it he thinks he can get David Villa out of retirement for a £20m finders fee and £400k a year.’

Didn't he say we were no more than three transfer Windows to being back at the top very recently?
He did, and he's not contradicting himself here. United is performing on the same level as Liverpool did six years ago, but it doesn't take six years to get to their current level (as proven by Liverpool title win)

'Ole outers' biggest argument was that things would be different under a new manager and coaches. It has been to be fair to them, it's been worse.

It's bizarre how many people seem to have completely forgotten the first half of the season and are now misty-eyed for the days of getting battered 5-0 at home against Liverpool. Rangnick has apparently "lost the dressing room", yet this same bunch of charlatans were just as bad with their bezzie mate in charge. Something doesn't add up.

I would love to hear his actual thoughts on this team. He’s probably holding back some really damning stuff about United as a club and some of our squad members.

I hope we’re setting the wheels in motion in the background and just riding out these final few games. Ralf and Murtough have seen enough to surely know who the bad eggs are, and who we can replace them with. I think Ralf’s interim stint has been more a squad evaluation exercise, rather than an inspired punt to get Top 4. It may be a good thing in the long run and we have to stare at our problems now and no longer paper over the cracks, if we got someone like Conte.

Its absolutely blatant that this is the type of man who should be making footballing decisions going forward.

Ask the players.

When a large group of people collectively stop listening to a manager it would be prudent to ask if the person giving the instructions is part of the problem.
