Ralf Rangnick | ex-interim manager | does anyone rate him?

let's celebrate that shit Woodward's last transfer window to cost us out of Top4 competition. We cannot change everything from the sub.

I used to think my club was a tragedy, now I realize it's a comedy. Ralf must be kicking himself he walked into this mess. Having to sweep up three years of our previous management to thinking they were playing a FIFA career mode. Damning.

I feel like the players are letting him down. We're too wasteful. The team is playing better than when he first arrived, but the results aren't good enough. We can't afford to drop points against the teams we're dropping them against. Continuing to see us go ahead and concede is very worrying.

We are the club that let a novice remain in charge for 3 years. Ralfs been ok, won't be here for long anyway so I see no point in complaining about him. He has, to some extend, steadied the ship but our former manager really left us in tatters.

Even as an interim manager he has been shit.

Great Idea switching sancho and Rashford in the 1st half to kill any momentum we had, wreck it Ralph
I was wondering why that switch was made. Things were working well and that switch didnt make any sense. It indeed killed the momentum we had.

I don't understand how he subbed Tommy to let go of the midfield completely while chasing a goal. I would have put Matic.

There are some patterns with play under him. But if you keep losing 1 goal lead in a very predictable way and could not score for a whole half almost every game, then at some point, blaming on missing chances won't cut it.

I dont think Matic was on the bench?

Because the players pull the foot off the pedal. That surely cant be on rangnick ?

His main job is to prepare the tactics and strategy and give the players the best chance to dominate and win the game, after that its on the players.

No one can say we got played off the pitch and barely created anything. Its on the players to stick with the gameplan and to actually score sitters once in a while.
Do you realize that Ole and every manager got sacked because the buck stops with the manager? Yeah, squad is shit and whatnot.

I mean by your logic, it was not Ole's fault that the players couldn't stick with his game plan and lose. I mean it can go both ways.

This thing keeps happening for almost every game recently and the manager has to find a way.

Players looked very leggy today. Could take some time to get this bunch up to optimal fitness for the job.

All this hype about the father of gegenpressing and we still play Oleball
The players refuse to play any other way. They don’t even try to run it’s so obvious. They are lazy and they think they’re good enough to do things their own way.

Ole handed Ralf a dumpster fire which has not yet been extinguished, but we’re no longer getting slaughtered by clubs like Watford. But I do fault Ralf not for persisting with McTominay.

Not saying RR is the guy but anyone saying 'no better than Ole', that's after 3 years and £400m spend. We looked pretty organised first 30 mins but I agree that after that the game resembled football under Ole. We're still not conceding much though

With ole there was no tactics and strategy, it was go out and express yourself and to play the counter.

That is why it was on ole too apart from the players, ole did nothing to make it easier for us to win games.

Appointing someone like Ragnick was a ridiculous call. Man has never managed outside Germany and even in Germany he wasn't managing Bayern.

Utd's board lets the fans on Twitter influence all their decisions.

Oh you guys want Ole as permanent? Here ya go. Oh a hipster manager no one has heard of? Sure.

And people started on Ole after 3 fecking incompetent years. So, please stop white washing an average incompetent manager who was deservingly fired.

Let's not go extreme. He was shit this season.

Go out and play would not beat teams like City most of the time and get 3rd and 2nd on the table despite his shortcomings with the standard we are looking for.

He's not even returned us to the level of last season and he has Ronaldo, Sancho and Varane at his disposal.

Not like i give a damn about people having a go at him or not but man, patience really ran out fast on this one vs some other case/s. What happened with, he needs his own squad, spend money in the summer bullshit, that nonsense mantra is only for others or?

This is some brain-dead reasoning. Was OGS winning the league before he was sacked?

Was he feck

I'm just sitting here laughing at the people blaming the finishing when the same thing was labelled an excuse under Ole

His in-game management and awareness is probably the only thing he can be fairly judged on, and he's not doing well in either aspect.

If your team is gassing, make adjustments tactically to compensate, don't just keep doing the same thing to diminishing returns and the inevitable conclusion.

His use of the bench has also not been good enough.

My feeling is that he's better with his own players that have been drilled and prepped pre-season how he wants - a linear coach, if you will. Not a manager in the pure sense of the word - that guy who can turn up at any club at any point in a season and make an impression with the personnel there.

People will have a go at the players and rightly so but this guy is pony. A total fraud.

I said it's a case of the emperor's new clothes with him and I stand by it. An interim manager's role is to come in and get the team winning points again, and we are just slightly less shite than we were under Ole. He had a lot to say about his coaching credentials and tactical acumen and we're yet to see much.

There's a reason why he was no longer coaching and its obvious for us all to see.

This is NOT about Ole vs whoever.

The buck stops with the manager and you can't keep defending from him that he let the same things happen over and over in many games.

And, this is why Ole was sacked this season deservingly.

He has some absolute idiots that he basically has to play at the moment because of injuries, and we have one striker that can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. We're creating chances and conceding because of idiotic individual mistakes, not sure what he can do about that. Hopefully the tide will turn at some point and we'll start scoring more of the chances we create. If not, we're fecked.

He’s no manager. You can tell he cannot read the game and doesn’t react to things.

Sancho has offered nothing in the last 15 minutes of matches and he keeps him on. Rashford comes alive in that time and gets subbed
