It’s upto to the players, Will they follow the instructions and will they put continuous effort in for 90 minutes, it’s hard to see with the group of players we have.
Previously, It was a lot easier to mould a team and a way of playing when he had young players desperately trying to make it in the profession, at teams where very little was expected of them. He’s now got a group of players who are overpaid, lack motivation and seem to think they have made it in football already and don’t need to learn anymore.
If the regular starters can’t/won’t do what he asks, start bringing in some youth or buy some exciting young players that are hungry for it and will give their all.

No. No significant trophies in 35y of managing says enough. If he was any good he would of had at least a bit of succes in such a long career. Not charismatic enough to be a manager. Might make a good coach though so I hope that's the only reason he's here to see our season out. Really, really, really hope our board has a plan in motion which results in signing Ten Hag after the season. Another hasbeen and I'll scream.

I din't think that was on the manager. Some of those players genuinely looked like they had ate too much Christmas food and were still a little tipsy from Christmas drinks (which elite athletes should be going nowhere near but we know that most do it). Absolutely shocking sharpness for this level.

Many of our players are looking in horrible form since the beginning of the season, I can't explain it. We were ok last season and then improved the team and first 11 no less and yet we are so much worse.
At least people should realize that you don't fix such a thing with a manager change in a few weeks or even months and Ole was not the single biggest problem, it goes deeper then that. I can only hope we find form in the second part of the season and then have a very good pre season with a new manager, whoever it will be.

Way too early to draw conclusions but one thing I am disappointed is how the same underperforming players have basically the assurances of starting the next game
I didn't like the way he set us up. Not the formation but players in the positions. Greenwood with Bruno is never going to work. I would have preferred if he had played DVB and Bruno behind the top two of Ronaldo and either Greenwood, Cavani or Sancho.

I was expecting a new manager bounce but theres been nothing. Its hard to see a significant upturn when the team's form has been bad for so long now.

Honestly the players need to be de-programmed or something. Just the sloppiest play all the time, 5 yard passes being hit too hard or misplaced slightly constantly.

Would have hoped for similar in games against Newcastle and Norwich rather than feeling we got more than we merited against 2 very bad sides. Maybe something like the performance away at Spurs under Ole when we won 0-3. We weren't fantastic that day, the scoreline maybe flattered us touch and Spurs were at a low ebb but we deserved the victory and looked largely in control.
The Young Boys match was a completely changed team so nothing to judge on in that one.

Good spot, genuinely thought he was complaining to Telles, not that there’s anything wrong with it. Just thought the whole team were complaining to everyone at every opportunity last night.
Players have to buy into how he works, either it's curtains again. It was shambolic yesterday. His press conference was all about what we didn't do and that shows its still work in progress, he tells you what's what is refreshing, no bollocks like well thus is football for you etc etc. Let's see where we are in February. But yesterday I couldn't see any progress.

We will never get to a level close to that with this set of players. A big percentage of our squad is made of technically average player. Hard to develop good possession football with Maguire/Fred/McT/Bruno/Rash/ etc etc

However if we aren't in the CL then things become more difficult on that front.
My biggest concern is that he doesn't fully understand the gravity of the problems at United. Its deep, underlying problems that go all the way to the top (too many to list). When I watched him talk pre match (might have been the presser) and he was positive saying that he wants to continue clean sheets but wants more from the attack, better decision making. I was thinking that's all good but unless it's coached into them then a lot of the decision making will be rubbish, as it has been for ages. Some of the players just don't have a good football IQ, the exceptions being DDG (always in the right place), Ronaldo and Cavani. The rest are bang average and often choose the wrong pass. Ronaldo was rubbish in this case because he looked like he was trying to pull stuff off and his body wasn't responding, then he was getting annoyed but no one can argue on his football brain..
a- this is a heavily unbalanced team with a mix of players who are clearly not good enough, lazy prima donnas, and players at the end of their career who came here for their massive pay cheque and can be bothered running. Ralph has also inherited a huge side with many egos and whose patience had ran thin

Not the time to rate or unrate the manager. He needs time. What is a concern is that we don’t have players for his style of football.

I think Rangnick can do well but he has to change the team from an Ole team. That front 6, you could give them peak Ferguson or Guardiola and they'd struggle to make it work.

Honestly I've lost a lot of faith in him here. Horrible football. Tuchel you could see a clear identity in the first two games. He should get Ten Hag asap for the summer. and go upstairs.

So you went from sticking behind Ole (who was in relegation form) after 3 years in the club to moaning about the new manager after only 3 games.
Really don’t think it’s anything but the same people knee jerking. Think you put the wrong label on the wrong jar there mate.
That’s what happens when you replace a manager the players hate. Suddenly they start trying again. The players didn’t hate Ole. They always tried for him (hence we had so many come from behind victories) So we were never going to get the easy bounce we saw after sacking Mourinho.
If anything, sacking a popular figure like Ole could destabilise us for a few weeks. We’ve also lost Carrick and McKenna in quick succession.
What the players need (and didn’t get under Ole) is world class coaching and a coherent, consistent approach to every game. This will obviously take much longer to produce any clear improvement than simply sacking a toxic presence like Mourinho.

It was always going to be difficult to implement such a big change in style. Yes, Conte has done it at Spurs, but usually it takes a while to change a system. I am worried just how much we haven't changed in the last few weeks - yesterday was horrendous against a very poor Newcastle.
RR has to take some responsibility though - his reliance on Rashford is beyond understanding. He must do some sensational stuff on the training ground to be constantly in the matchday squad.
