Dragged off after 30mins against Reading. Fergie sucking off Jones after last night.

I'm smelling Jones at RB on Sunday.

With the return of Jones, I hope Fergie doesn't start messing Raf around like he did last year. The boy must feel that he's earned the right back spot now. He shouldn't be shafted in order to keep other players happy.

(Jones was excellent last night though. The next few weeks should be interesting)

I'll be incredibly pissed off if this happens. I actually posted about it in this thread when Jones first was mentioned for being for again.

It'll be a joke if Jones gets in, Rafael has been our player of the season so far.

Its the way fergie works, if a player can play well in 1 game form doesnt matter, the performance stands out.

It would not suprise me in the slightest if he starts jones instead.

Me neither, I half expect it. In fact, if you go back in this thread a few weeks to when we were all waxing lyrical about Rafael's form and how having a run in the team has helped massively, you see my comment saying "well, just wait until Jones and Smalling get back, then he'll get fecked off".

Dunno, but of this really happen, he should really hands a transfer request. He is our best player this season, and had done enough to cement his place in first 11. I don't see why he should be dropped.

Hand in a transfer request? For what, missing a game because of his own unprofessional behaviour?

lol.

I was meaning if he will overlooked in favor of Jones/Smalling in the entire season. Of course that missing a game, or even rotation is a natural thing.

If all our wingers are out then feck it play Jones RB and Rafael RW...

This thread got weird, who showed unprofessional behaviour?

...

I asked Revan if said behaviour was the reason he'd be benched on Sunday, should that be reason enough for him to hand in a transfer request? Was that what Revan was insinuating? Which it wasn't, as he describe later.

Put down your candy-cane lances, your cardboard shields and relax for a second - fellow internet warriors.

Unprofessional though? Seen much worse. Simply a can of worms that don't need to be opened.

It would be more unproffesional not being pissed off being subbed after 30 mins imo

I'd honestly have been more angry at Rafael if he didn't act that way. It was the heat of the moment and he showed passion and a desire to play, was he supposed to be smiling and happy? Yes he should apologize to Sir Alex but in the heat of the moment I see nothing wrong with it.

He probably has and moved on.

They look quite different in that pic tbf, Rafa's the one on the right, right? :nervous:

Anyway, I don't think we really have enough fit bodies to be leaving Rafael out, Jones may be required to shore up the midfield, in some comical way, anyway, & Smalling may start or will certainly be required as a backup.

Fabio on the right, on the left is there other brother, who is non identical. :D
