Should start every game, ridiculously good for a 20 year old.
The right back position is his. We have finally found the replacement for Gary Neville.
I do not like to use potential or the future when talking about Rafael. He is already one of the best fullbacks in the world.
No where near although a very exciting prospect and if he keeps going will become one of the best.
No way near? He's in the Brazilian squad ain't he? Who's got better full backs than Brazil? No one, that's who.
And guess what ? Some preferred to play O'Shea there at the beginning of the season
Just my opinion but i tink Lamn is the best right back. Maicon the second. And Alves is the third best in the world. Plus Ramios would imo be ahead of him also plus maybe a few others i'm not trying to knock the boy i think he's great but just not at the level some are suggesting.
So even if we accept that those you named are maybe better, that's only 4 people, so he'd be in the top 5. I think it's therefore fair to class he as being "one of the best in the world". Nobody said the best.
Glen Johnson?! I'd argue he's as good if not better than most of those you've mentioned, but Johnson? Bloody hell..
And guess what ? Some preferred to play O'Shea there at the beginning of the season
Glen Johnston
Johnson is good at the attacking aspect of being an 'attacking fullback', but he almost always forgets how to actually defend, which is something of a problem when that's the main job of the role. Rafael is far better than him.
I know.
I don't see what his age has to do with anything, I'm basing my opinions on the performances he has put in against top level opposition. So, to answer your question, yes.
Fair enough, as long as he keeps putting in the same level of performance I'm going to be a happy man
No way near? He's in the Brazilian squad ain't he? Who's got better full backs than Brazil? No one, that's who.
I'm not sure why you find that offensive. He has proven himself as one over the years. Why the surprise?Would you stop it with this ? Maicon was injured. If Brazil's right back are all fit then Rafael is just not ready
This is like "Evans is the best young center back in the world".Stop overrating our players even it's exciting to do so.
I'm amazed some throw so easily the "best in the world" adjective so fecking easily.
