He has already scored twice this season, and scored 9 in 17 games last season for Monaco according to transfermarkt. That's as good a ratio as you can get for a player that struggled with injuries. I do believe he is still top class, he has to stay fit though

I am absolutely buzzing about this news. if he has recovered fully from his injury, then we are getting one of the most complete #9s in the world. Our attacking threat has been non existent this year, let's be perfectly honest. A mere £12 million loan for a world class striker will give us an incredible boost.

I'm speechless! As the BBC says, we've blown deadline day apart with this deal. People who are saying where is everyone going to fit in need to remember that all of the top teams need a good squad, not just starting 11. We're struggling for goals already this season, so signing one of the best strikers in the world seems to make sense to me.

Considering what we spent on Mata and Di Maria, signing a fully fit and on top form Falcao for £43 million/55 million euros wouldnt be too bad if he hits the ground running and is scoring a goal a game.

He's never had explosive pace (we're talking about Falcao, right?), he's always been more about finishing and technique.

RVP needs an OP and will be out for 1-2 months, plus he's 31, Hernandez and Welbeck both likely to be off, and United for once haven't messed about, they have gone out and signed a top class center forward, but let's find something to moan about. And it's a loan deal in view of his fitness issues, it makes too much sense. Great signing. He'll rip the PL to shreds.
