What in the world of feck?

Why do we need yet another striker?

madness.

Imagine this...

DDG

RAFAEL------------JONES-------------ROJO---------------SHAW

BLIND

CARRICK------------HERRERA

DI MARIA----------------------------ROONEY

FALCAO

We could almost make a whole XI of panic signings made over the last couple years.

So, can someone explain why the hell Monaco are happy to loan out the best #9 in the world?

Because he wants to go, for 10 months now. He tried to force a transfer in january last year.
When he signed, well informed people said that he was supposed to join Madrid in january but it didn't happened.
Falcao is not trying at Monaco, they are paying for nothing.

This signing makes no sense except if Robin need surgery and will be out a lot.

Shows how much fate LVG has in Welbeck...

Was working on this about a week ago but I had no idea how to finish it or where to put it even. However, since Woody's gone nuts this window particularly with this piece of news:

Brilliant job!

Our transfer policy really is baffling at times

I am so glad it is going to be a loan deal and we are not going to be blowing £65 million on a player who has just missed a season and knocking on 29 (I think).

But he is still a very exciting player so I really look forward to seeing him here.

Hernandez and possibly Welbeck going ,with RVP due for an operation it makes perfect sense.

Erm, no?

Sense would be having your backup strikers who arent happy with not getting enough gametime, cover your striker who is having an operation.

Not selling 2 backup strikers, to loan another backup striker who is just back from an injury himself and nowhere near his best with question marks if he'll get back there

This must mean that RvP's supposed to have his awaited surgery now which will keep him out for a long time. Otherwise this makes zero sense to me.

No reliable reports on that front though... curious

what doesn't kill you makes you stranger

Hes still good, but since coming back and during his time at Monaco he was only decent. scoring 9 league goals last season. He is no longer world class.

We'll see.

I don't think Monaco was the best vehicle to display his talents, anyway. If we can get clicking with Di Maria and Mata, he could be unstoppable.

Our transfer season has been more successful than our football season so far. This is a new sensation for me.

Whats wrong with this club

So we're paying more for Falcao for one season than we got for Kagawa

What on earth are we doing?

must virtually be the end of welbeck and RVP?

It's crazy, isn't it? None of this makes sense to me. It seems as if van Gaal's moving on Welbeck and Chicharito with a view to move on van Persie or Rooney in the future with Wilson coming up, or moving both van Persie and Rooney on and bringing up Welbeck and Wilson.

Maybe we just signed him so Arsenal didn't??? Could be significant cos could be the difference between us being in the CL next season and Arsenal! in which case 12m well spent!

This is amazing, it's like the club has gone full muppet this season. I love it.

I give up guys. What the hell. If you told me we're going to sign Di Maria and Falcao in one summer, I would called you absolute bonkers.

What's next? Vidal and Hummels?

The loan could be there just so there's time to discuss the transfer fee instead of rushing on deadline day. Monaco would be getting a good loan fee, too.

Most likely we'll have agreed a fee like before we took Tevez on loan. Maybe this time we'll actually pay what we've agreed if we like him though
