Brown, blue or grey… or you got stoned. The fashion was rubbish back then wasn't it.
Though to be fair, I don’t think the person who has coloured these photos has done a great job. Looks like a kid did it

Have you got one of those TVs from the 70s when they only showed Beeb 1, 2 and ITV?
Hill walking it is then.Unfortunately
I think it's pushed me into the dislike camp. It's not the funeral and all the pomp and ceremony, it's just that it's reminding me of the unfairness of it all. Normally we don't see them much on the news, this has just made it all very obvious.I wonder if all this has moved anyone into actually disliking the royal family and what it stands for when prior to this they were mostly indifferent?

Probably get there and it’ll be closed… as a mark of respect.
There is always the Emoji MovieWe have decided to go hill walking on Monday to avoid watching the funeral, not because we are anti-Royal or any thing just don’t really fancy sitting watching a funeral all day

The country will go back to normal after the funeral right?

The Kohinoor diamond has a range of values but lower estimates tend to be around the £200m mark with upper estimates around £600m.How much are the jewels the crown stole worth?
Very disrespectful (too soon!). There is a time and a place for that. She's literally lying in a fecking Palace right now as thousands of people risk their health to stand in line to walk past her, and her funeral will cost millions of pounds. In comparison most of our grandmothers are bunged in a hole after sitting in a morgue for a few days. But, yeah, don't say anything naughty about someone's grandmother such as "should this really be paid for by taxpayers" because that would be disrespectful...

‘HRH attained a very favourable rate in the negotiations for the jewels’Wow
Wonder how much they paid for it when they bought it back in the day.

I'd say that will definitely happen.India wants it back unless the receipt can be produced

Not so much all this nonsense, do think going from the reasonably placid kind looking old lady to her son will see a sharp royal family popularity drop though.I wonder if all this has moved anyone into actually disliking the royal family and what it stands for when prior to this they were mostly indifferent?
It was South Africa who 'gave' it to the royals and some of their MPs do want it back.India wants it back unless the receipt can be produced
This just made me imagine the scenes on here if the House of Windsor purchased UnitedSide note, the crown used in the coronation is worth $2-4bn which is mental.
Could nearly get a nice swap deal for united

Wawawiwa.
Surely they’ll be doing Purcell’s Thou Knowest Lord as part of the Croft? I think the Croft/Purcell hybrid has been sung at every royal funeral since whenever.@Revaulx what do you make of the music for the service? The Queen clearly liked Croft to have 2 of his pieces in the service but I can't lie and say I'm not a tad disappointed they aren't going to do Purcell's funeral sentences. Hopefully Weir's new piece is as good as the incredible Psalm 104 commissioned for Philip's funeral.
