I went to horse racing at Windsor once. It was foggy and they set off, all ran into the fog, and after a few minutes came running back out again. feck knows what went on.

It's a crazy decision in almost every way.
I've been in offices, bars, banks and seen hundreds of billboards this past week and not a glimpse of the Queen's funeral. Obviously, there will be a small minority watching the funeral but it's hardly a heavily watched event worldwide like the World Cup or Olympics. I'd wager exponentially more Americans watched the NFL yesterday than anything about the Queen's funeral and I'd be shocked if more than 0.1% of China watched any of it.
