Quaresma leaving Porto

I remember in 2003 there was a lot of discussion of whether we should get Quaresma or Ronaldo.

Think its fair to say we made the right choice.

I remember having a major issue with us getting the wrong Portuguese winger especially after we set up the good relationships with one or two portugese clubs. How fecking wrong was I

He has issues. I think someone from his family keeps telling him 24/7 that he´s brilliant to the point he actually believes in it. In his interviews he always sounds amazed at how nobody can see how great he his except him.

Bendtner's the same but he's actually doing something. Querasma's the kind of man who in his 60's will be talking about awesome he was. If he wouldn't have been good enough to go pro he would have talked about how he was once in the Sporting Lisbon academy and how he almost went all the way to the top.

He was doing fine a Porto right? Move to Inter ruined him. I mean he's always been Quaresma but at least whilst playing in Portugal he was closer to something considered consistent?

Maybe he's just proper arrogant.

I just can't stand this guy.

Some people may love his circus crap but I think it's the ugliest shittiest crappest.....when he does his little outside the boot thing I want to just ...

ok....

WOOOSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I was never impressed with him when I saw him at Porto. I didn't understand the hype for a player who performs like he has an IQ of 10. Or why he was getting compared to Cristiano Ronaldo, even in 2007. People just love to overrate players. They love it, place them much much higher than their ability or talent. In Quaresma's case, put them a billion miles higher.

'Oh but but he was rated higher than Ronaldo at Sporting!' I don't give a feck! He plays like an absolute bellend.

Inter didn't ruin him, Inter EXPOSED him. Jose wanted him to succeed! so badly! but it was an impossible task. Jose even came out in an interview saying he should cut down on his outside of the boot thingy.

In other words 'Moratti, I've signed a spastic...a portugese one at that!' He was infuriating to the point the San Siro would boo him when he played. Boo their own player! How often do you see that? It was comical at times. Inter fans must have been thinking, who is this flash numpty?! and why is he not playing like he does on the youtube compilation?!

The worst thing is, he just wasn't that fast, so he wasn't getting away from defenders, so if he did manage to beat somebody they would recover regardless. He doesn't have a footballing brain so his passing and decision making wasn't cutting it either and it never will. I mean how shite must the Portugese league have been if he was as sensational as people say he was?

Then this lad ended up in Chelsea....and started playing for the reserves...Quaresma reminds me of a story I read a while back of how some nobody player marketed himself to play for the biggest clubs...not quite but kind of.. not picked for thw world cup 2006, or 2010, played one game in a group stage loss at Euro 2008....

...Quaresma..please just retire. Stop making a mockery of the beautiful game and call it a day. Do it for you, for me..and once again for you.

Taking it a bit over the the top. I believe I said he was doing fine and was closed to something that seems consistent.

He's certainly not as bad as you make him out to be. Otherwise he wouldn't get that odd goal because he can shoot the ball well. His passing is just everywhere. And his left foot is awful.

Did you rate him highly once? Because you're quite angry with a player that plays regularly for Besiktas and did for Porto and is the member of the national team. Why on earth should he call it a day and quit:confused:

Much more of a personal wish. To be fair, I'll appeal to Busquets too and he's a sensational footballer.

I love his outside of the foot technique!

I remember I once rated him higher than Ronaldo :nervous:

Looks like he's coming back to us. Yay!

Just posted this on his facebook (assuming it's a real page, looks like it is).

"Pound it out, Bebe."

Somewhat inevitably he missed.

Actually agree with quite a few things on that Boss' rant

I still think he was awesome here, but after leaving never saw him do anything of note.
