QF | Spain vs Germany | Portugal vs France

For the umpteenth time, haven't got one damn clue what the handball rule is

Now I understand why Mourinho abused him. He's such a clown.

I dunno… that could have been a penalty in my opinion. His hand was pretty far from his body and blocked a shot that would have been on target.

I just don't understand the hand ball rules anymore. They change it every few months, its pathetic.

That should never, ever be a penalty and it is pitiful that the absurd interpretation of handball in recent years has people thinking it is.

Germany deserve to win this.

Ooh surprising mistake from Wirtz, almost always picks the right pass

I am fine with that not being a penalty, however I do think it clashes with the generally rather harsh line for what a handball penalty is given for, these days. I think in most cases, this would have been given under the current ruleset.

If that is not a pen, then what is. Ridiculous. Doesnt matter if we habe VAR or whatever, you can't escape incompetence.

Coisty , bless him, he's been doing all he can to preserve the existence of the number 9.

Fullkrug has made a big difference though.

Noone knows the rules these days. They just make it up along the way.

These should be penalties regardless if it was intentional or not. It's a shot on goal prevented by a hand.

Olmo is a tricky little fecker isn’t he? Everytime I’ve seen him he’s looked decent. Nobody bigger than Leipzig fancies him?

Handball is just a lottery. One time is penalty next time the same incident is no penalty. Joke of a decision. Why VAR isn't intervening?

That was a great finish. He closed his eyes and shouted feck you and battered it a mile away. That takes guts.
