QF | Spain vs Germany | Portugal vs France

Spain will be lucky to get through this with the way things have gone and the decisions made

Handball rules change moment to moment. Stop asking so many questions.

That should never, ever be a penalty and it is pitiful that the absurd interpretation of handball in recent years has people thinking it is.

Germany deserve to win this.
No-one wants that to be a penality probably, its about consistency. Ball hit the hand, hand is a long way from his side, made his silhouette bigger etc. Still, no penalty.

I think Spain have had some pretty terrible goalkeeping performances from keepers that play in the PL so they seem to stick to La Liga GK's these days.

Who are these PL keepers that have played for Spain? I can only think of De Gea and Kepa, and he only has about 10 caps, and I don’t remember either being particularly horrible for Spain

You feel like without VAR the ref would give it and the linesman would flag but now they're all just waiting for VAR to say blatant handball.

I guarantee you it's the opposite and they didn't VAR it, because the ref had perfect vision of the incident and that pushed the intervention threshold way up in their silly minds.

I think the handball rule is pretty straightforward. If it’s against a weaker, less popular team it’s a penalty, if against one of the big guys then it’s not.

Olmo’s been great. A lot better than his main German counterpart in Musiala

Refs all over the show, Kimmich and Kroos have got with more serious but still soft stuff yet he dishes out yellows for the softest things ever.

That control by Wirtz! That pass from Müller, that seconds sleep from Füllkrug

Could be:confused:. Through FPL I have had to endure english refereeing, and they all seem to dislike to give calls for handballs in general..

De Gea cost Spain a WC and a Euro's with some pretty big fumbles, he was 6th choice GK in the last tournament, some bloke congratulated him on retiring but he just wasn't selected in the first team or backups, and Kepa was his usual shit self, totally erratic on a good day.

What an absolutely idiotic post.
Nah, I was there and bunch of you were terrible the next day. So cry more, again. And these 2 situations are not the same. The pen against you was correct.
