I’ve seen the PS5 box and I don’t think you’re ready for how large it is.

my reaction was like one of those porn videos where the woman unsheathes a giant sausage from a pair of tracksuit bottoms....

In order to pre-load Black Ops Cold War, you must have the following free drive space on your platform:

PlayStation 4: 95GB

PlayStation 5: 133GB

Xbox One: 93GB

Xbox Series X|S: 136GB

Note: console players can choose to uninstall specific game mode packs, such as for Campaign or Zombies, in order to reduce the game’s overall file size. This content can be managed in-game through the “Account & Network” section of the Settings menu.

Something needs to be done about file sizes. Ridiculous.

There's gonna be a lot of people that want Cold War and Modern Warfare installed. That's the PS5 full

I don’t know where else to ask it so I apologise for derailing the thread but I missed out on my two free October PS plus games because my PS4 been stuck in safe mode can I still redeem them in November?

No. You should just use the app to redeem them.

For future reference you can redeem PS+ games on the web store but it is a bit of a mess with the store visual update so don't ask me how.

Scalping other cartards is not allowed... Has to be sold at cost!

Star Wars: Squadrons
PlayStation 5
Star Wars: Squadrons runs with improved lighting on PS5 at the same resolution and framerate as the PS4 Pro.

Xbox Series X/S
Star Wars: Squadrons offers up two options on Xbox Series X/S: better visual quality or better performance. Better visual quality means an improved lighting model, running up to 2160p/60 FPS on Series X and up to 1440p/60 fps on Series S. Better performance takes that same resolution and bumps it up to up 120 FPS on both of Xbox's consoles. If you have a television that supports Variable Refresh Rates, Motive added a toggle in the menu for that.

Like how that guy pulls out a negative comment, cutting out the glowing one that comes immediately after. Sounds like a right whopper from that thread as well.

Don’t even know who he is. But hey ho gotta pull out negative comments from unknowns. Might as well add @esmufc07 Twitter whilst we at it if we searching.

Interesting literally every review I saw (all the ones posted here) said it was absolutely painless and praised the mobile app for being able to set it up whilst it was downloading the initial update.

Is it just because these were trying to setup without a connection?

Who are these? Above clown doesn’t have one.

Wow I thought PS5 would be quicker. I thought that was the whole point. Less TFs but quicker SSD?

Is it just because it's back compat titles but new next gen games should take advantage and load quicker?

Let's be honest a few seconds is nothing. Just surprised.

Agreed, also surprised by that. Pretty sure MHW loads about the same speed on my ps4 slim from my external SSD

Bakalar said in his review for CNET that the back cap games in ps5 had no noticeable improvement in load speeds, but the next gen game ie Spider-Man loaded unbelievably quickly to the point that quick resume wouldn’t have been needed.

Someone confirm this for me before I reach my final fanboy form

Need next gen games before we really know to be honest.

Maybe Xbox just handles back compat better which isn't surprising because it's part of their core strategy and not seemingly a bit of an afterthought (it's true)

The Xbox one x runs those games in higher resolutions than the PS4 pro counterpart. PS5 is running those games at a lower resolution, so not surprising it’s keeping a more stable frame rate.
