Haze is absolute trash, timesplitters was fantastic

Don’t listen to potato camera Elvis.

Get your fat PS3 out and play Haze. It’s the Metroid prime killer that you were searching for.

Imagine if the most exciting thing about your console was vibrating triggers and x and o grip on the controller.

So baked to give a feck about vibration yet the vibration is so very next gen and game changing right? ;)
Yes @Alock1..
Yes. I can't fecking wait!

Thinking about having a smoke and a little rum. Then having those sexy vibrations immerse me in gaming Nirvana.... Nah, but I'm open to the possibilities though. Unlike you boring motherfeckers...

To be fair to the guy if you don't smoke and game you would never understand the simple pleasures.

Those haptic vibrations whilst stoned seem like a terrible mix to be fair

I will eventually, but I need to see what new wheels are coming as I refuse to play driving games on controllers.

You'd be surprised. For example, Resident Evil 7 VR or Wipeout VR stoned would seem like nightmare fuel, but they're both pretty fecking epic ;)

The old wheels still work don't they?

Id love to try both of those onVR, if they make another VR for the ps5 I’m jumping all over it.

Regardless of how big the margin actually is, everybody I know that plays cod or Fortnite online turns the vibration off. Me included.

Campaigns are where the feature is gonna be worthwhile not online.

You can add me that doesn't turn them off and play cod regularly, it makes no difference on controller, unless your thumbs are so weak they move because of the tiny vibrations.

Tried one of these a while ago in Curry's, stupidly expensive, but I'd imagine the racing games would be insane after I fell in love with it after 30 seconds.

I'm now remembering all those times you died and we'd have won trios had you turned vibration off!

I’m actually glad I never pre-ordered now. I was all set on getting the PS5 but now starting to lean towards the Series X, really like the look of this console. Now I’ll get to see the reviews of both before really making my mind up.

I actually hate playing with the vibrations off, when my pad is about to die it automatically turns vibrations off and it feels terrible.

Great post. Elvis would do well to take note.

I use to be the same, but I promise it makes a difference once you get used to it in some of those tight margin 1 on 1s

Maybe it's in my head, I dunno

Yeah agreed. It’s like all the other little things - they add up to making a difference when you’re one bullet from being the fella that dies, which is probably quite often.

Auto aim its in your head, psychological just like any streamer that always changes their crosshair in games it doesn't do anything.

Mouse sensitivity is always a huge one people copying their favourite streamers sensitivity thinking they will suddenly improve it isn't true. You could argue the a lower sensitivity does indeed increase your accuracy for slight aim adjustments but its personal preference once you get into a certain range and there is always the outlier who has a super quick sensitivity and is incredible.

Where vibration catches me, is when I dont see an enemy, I get shot and the controller is vibrating - I'm trying to compute what is going on and thus I react slower as I go into a panic - especially as I'm not as actively playing the last few months. So from my aspect it isnt the controller wobbling my aim, it's a sensory part I dont need worry about. I'm sure if I played the same game each day I'd get used to it more, but I just wake it down to lowest setting now.

When your thumbs are controlling something that’s vibrating like feck it’s obviously gonna affect tiny movements, which are needed when aiming. Thumbs aren’t exactly the most precise and steady thing to begin with. It’s not in your head. It’s also offputting on top of that, which is in your head, but still a thing.

But the games doing the majority of the aiming for you on console you just need to move very close to the character, obviously sniping or super long range is a different story that's strict input.

If that were true it would be impossible to miss. Unless you’re just talking about Fortnite or something which I haven’t played.

You will find that the majority of good players isn't your accuracy its map knowledge, game knowledge and crosshair placement.

The key to being decent is having to move your crosshair as little as possible as you have positioned it already where the enemy is likely to appear.

Aim obviously helps but if your good enough to control the game to a decent standard it's the rest that makes you a better player.

Obvs, but that’s meaningless if you can’t put the bullets in to the guy quicker than he can you. You’re still gonna come face to face with people.

Any decent player will overshoot where people are preaiming too, so reactions and accuracy still count for something, plus there’s always the chance of being third partied. That happens to everyone, no matter how much game sense they have.

Also a good chance you win if you can smash it into someone’s head while they’re hitting body shots.

If your controller is vibrating like mad during all of this it’s definitely going to affect things.

I'm so used to vibration i don't think i even notice it anymore.

with FOV sliders finally on console games and the choice of framerates slowly becoming the norm be interesting to see how many choose performance over visuals especially in competitive gaming.

Might be a shift from higher resolution and 30 frames

Yeah almost certainly. Mad that we’ve been forced to play against people that can literally see more and faster.

In competitive? Not a single person in the world would choose anything other than performance and highest fov.

The question more will be if the devs are smart enough to stop tying autoaim tracking with the fps and learning from the mistakes made by the likes of Fortnite and War zone.

It is absolutely mad.

Made even worse by trying to give controller/console litteral aimbot and thinking that balances it.

If they want to allow consoles in crossplay, they should allow console gamers to tailor their experience like the PC can. It will never be equal obviously, but give people a chance at least!

You're giving all the persons in the world too much credit I'm afraid.
