Haze is absolute trash, timesplitters was fantastic
Don’t listen to potato camera Elvis.
Get your fat PS3 out and play Haze. It’s the Metroid prime killer that you were searching for.

Yes @Alock1..So baked to give a feck about vibration yet the vibration is so very next gen and game changing right?
Yes @Alock1..
Yes. I can't fecking wait!
Thinking about having a smoke and a little rum. Then having those sexy vibrations immerse me in gaming Nirvana.... Nah, but I'm open to the possibilities though. Unlike you boring motherfeckers...
Well... You took it in a weird direction. I'll never share a controller with you, fecking bender.shoving the controller up ones arse isn’t how one games.

Imagine if the most exciting thing about your console was vibrating triggers and x and o grip on the controller.

To be fair to the guy if you don't smoke and game you would never understand the simple pleasures.

Anybody planning to buy Dirt 5?
Looking really good from the gameplay so far
Didn’t think you were talking about game titles hereI played through the order 1886, genji and Haze. Did you?

Redlambs’ living room...I will eventually, but I need to see what new wheels are coming as I refuse to play driving games on controllers.
Redlambs’ living room...
Plus the crash helmet and racing gloves!
(I wish I was joking on the last too...)
You'd be surprised. For example, Resident Evil 7 VR or Wipeout VR stoned would seem like nightmare fuel, but they're both pretty fecking epicThose haptic vibrations whilst stoned seem like a terrible mix to be fair

Id love to try both of those onVR, if they make another VR for the ps5 I’m jumping all over it.You'd be surprised. For example, Resident Evil 7 VR or Wipeout VR stoned would seem like nightmare fuel, but they're both pretty fecking epic
The old wheels still work don't they?
Oi don't forget the herbsId love to try both of those onVR, if they make another VR for the ps5 I’m jumping all over it.
Regardless of how big the margin actually is, everybody I know that plays cod or Fortnite online turns the vibration off. Me included.
Campaigns are where the feature is gonna be worthwhile not online.
Redlambs’ living room...
You can add me that doesn't turn them off and play cod regularly, it makes no difference on controller, unless your thumbs are so weak they move because of the tiny vibrations.
Fanboys are so pathetic. Can we just accept both consoles will be great, will offer their own unique advantages and will play fantastic games.
I'm now remembering all those times you died and we'd have won trios had you turned vibration off!
Great post. Elvis would do well to take note.I’m actually glad I never pre-ordered now. I was all set on getting the PS5 but now starting to lean towards the Series X, really like the look of this console. Now I’ll get to see the reviews of both before really making my mind up.
I actually hate playing with the vibrations off, when my pad is about to die it automatically turns vibrations off and it feels terrible.
That fanboy taking note of something? Give me a break.Great post. Veeva would do well to take note.
Yeah agreed. It’s like all the other little things - they add up to making a difference when you’re one bullet from being the fella that dies, which is probably quite often.I use to be the same, but I promise it makes a difference once you get used to it in some of those tight margin 1 on 1s
Maybe it's in my head, I dunno

When your thumbs are controlling something that’s vibrating like feck it’s obviously gonna affect tiny movements, which are needed when aiming. Thumbs aren’t exactly the most precise and steady thing to begin with. It’s not in your head. It’s also offputting on top of that, which is in your head, but still a thing.
If that were true it would be impossible to miss. Unless you’re just talking about Fortnite or something which I haven’t played. But the games doing the majority of the aiming for you on console you just need to move very close to the character, obviously sniping or super long range is a different story that's strict input.

Obvs, but that’s meaningless if you can’t put the bullets in to the guy quicker than he can you. You’re still gonna come face to face with people. You will find that the majority of good players isn't your accuracy its map knowledge, game knowledge and crosshair placement.
The key to being decent is having to move your crosshair as little as possible as you have positioned it already where the enemy is likely to appear.
Aim obviously helps but if your good enough to control the game to a decent standard it's the rest that makes you a better player.

Any decent player will overshoot where people are preaiming too, so reactions and accuracy still count for something, plus there’s always the chance of being third partied. That happens to everyone, no matter how much game sense they have.
Also a good chance you win if you can smash it into someone’s head while they’re hitting body shots.
If your controller is vibrating like mad during all of this it’s definitely going to affect things.
Yeah almost certainly. Mad that we’ve been forced to play against people that can literally see more and faster.I'm so used to vibration i don't think i even notice it anymore.
with FOV sliders finally on console games and the choice of framerates slowly becoming the norm be interesting to see how many choose performance over visuals especially in competitive gaming.
Might be a shift from higher resolution and 30 frames

You're giving all the persons in the world too much credit I'm afraid. In competitive? Not a single person in the world would choose anything other than performance and highest fov.
The question more will be if the devs are smart enough to stop tying autoaim tracking with the fps and learning from the mistakes made by the likes of Fortnite and War zone.
