Starting to think @DixieDean has never bought something he actually wanted. First the Elite controller shenanigans, now this.

COD. And I've found myself becoming less and less interested in other games. I'm going to buy Cyberpunk and Cold War. After that? I've no idea what my next game will be. Probably some crap on Gamepass.

What kind of games have you played previously that you liked? I went through a rut mid gen and I think it was playing Celeste that got me into other games again rather than just firing up a multiplayer game that I would just put time into without thinking about it.

Fortnite for next gen: https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/...-arrives-next-week-on-xbox-series-x-s-and-ps5

Series X and PS5
- 4K at a smooth 60 FPS.
- Dynamic visuals and physics.
- Loading of textures and matches significantly improved.
- Enhanced split screen (60 FPS).
- Progression carries over from last gen as well as crossplay.

PS5 only
- Haptic feedback on different weapons
- Activity card support (can go straight into Battle Royale lobby with Solo, Duos or Squads selected)

Series X only

Series S
- 1080P at 60 FPS with "most" of the visual enhancements on Series X.
- Enhanced split screen (60 FPS).
- Progression carries over from last gen as well as crossplay.

Is fortnite still big then? I've been on a Warzone loop for the last couple of months and not kept up with general news.

All that extra power being put to good use I see.

I mean we’ll just quick resume back in to it rather than the pointless activity card which is just skipping an in game menu by having to use a menu in the PlayStation ui

Anybody decent will turn that haptic feedback off on Fortnite by the way

It's the sort of game where that's the last thing you want

Shite post...

Hard to take seriously on any console game which uses auto aim.

Vibration would be the smallest of margins.

Who wouldn't want to FEEL the force of a sawn off shotgun blasting your opponent to smitherines?

Regardless of how big the margin actually is, everybody I know that plays cod or Fortnite online turns the vibration off. Me included.

Campaigns are where the feature is gonna be worthwhile not online.

I like how you bolded "at". But where is word "resolution"?

Bingo. Literally anyone who is some bit competitive / going for wins will turn any of these feedbacks off or down to the lowest setting online.

It is just very common practice these days, whether it greatly improves you or not is up for debate.

Y'all take this shit way too seriously... I'm usually baked or tipsy you think I give a feck about vibration and competitive edge? I game to chill out!

Fair enough though...

I think it stems from PC streamers. Tinkering with graphical options to get the lowest input possible and avoid any potential screen tears or jitters. All about as quick a reaction as you can do, even if you manage only 1 shitty kill a game. People will tend to blame everything other than their ability.

So baked to give a feck about vibration yet the vibration is so very next gen and game changing right? ;)

Excellent post. He’s probably just playing one of the many baby games available only on PlayStation anyway.

Fanboys are so pathetic. Can we just accept both consoles will be great, will offer their own unique advantages and will play fantastic games.

Great post.

But remember Elvis and Afro don’t actually play any of the PS exclusives. They just use them in list wars for forums.

What game should I game first?
Depends which console you're getting. If it's the ps5 there's a few good launch titles and an extensive library of ps4 exclusives. Series X has nothing unfortunately, maybe an old Halo game. Might be something by 2022 or 2023 though.

Well said, couldn't agree more.

Started the Order but couldn’t get into it. Which was a shame because the trailers looked great. Haven’t tried genji and haze.

Haze was made by timesplitters crew. So much for you being a fan of that game. Haze is one of the most highly rated and best games I ever played. Get your PS3 out and play it.

Alien Isolation is on offer atm so I’m tempted to download and play that, been on my list for a while.

I checked for you. Vanquish is better and on sale. It’s the last game I’m going to finish on my One X. Wonderful 101 will be the last game for PS4.

Haze is absolute trash, timesplitters was fantastic
