There should be more protests, and not just from us. Fans from other clubs should also protest against scum owners. There needs to be change in football in general, far too much corruption while the fans who are the reason this big money is generated are usually treated as trash.

1) If United had won rather than lost 3 of the first 4 games of the season, would this protest have taken place today?
2) If we were in 1956/7 would you have supported the FA and Football League when instructing United not to enter the European Cup.
If you can answer these questions honestly , you should see the hypocrisy of the current situation. United's owner in 1957 was replaced a year later by an even more despised owner/chairman than the Glazers. It didn't stop United creating one of the best football sides ever.

I'm all for protesting so long as there's no violence towards police or anyone else. Like a lot of the other protests over the last 12 months I bet some would be there for a scrap rather than making a point.

The coverage in America has been horrible. Exclusively showing the worst clips they can find while simultaneously asking "I wonder if the violence will take away from the real message??" Meanwhile not once mentioning the actual point of the protests.

It’s hard for me to know how to judge these things when they happen overseas. My protestor vs cops gauge is skewed by what happens here.
It's a "tactic" used to change laws, policies and to shine a light on social injustice. This is a protest primarily driven by United not winning anything of real relevance for the last 8 years. It'll be reported as news but when the rationale is provided ("Well, you see, the Glazers have only been making interest payments all along...") most people outside of the Greater Manchester area will chuckle and move on with their night/day.
I have nothing bad to say about the supporters who protested nor the ones who breached club grounds. This club is their livelihood and they're furious...have at it. But financially this game is being played at a level so far above their heads that it's ultimately a bit pointless.
Looks like they were throwing missiles at them in the video I posted above then the police started to move them back.

Screaming that you want them to die then complaining about lack of engagement is disingenuous. Fans groups have refused to engage as a tactic they thought would make their aims more achievable.

But momentum is growing. There is a point we could reach where the Glazers would have to sell. We aren't there by a long shot yet, and we need our fans together on this. Stop belittling the efforts and join in in whatever way you can.
To me it's a question of what is morally right. Breaking into the stadium will be deemed wrong in legal terms, but, provided it's peaceful, I think it is morally justifiable in the battle against the Glazers. I would take nothing off the table which doesn't use physical force or destruction. The idiot who wrecked the cameras was totally wrong for me, but those who entered the stadium peacefully are doing nothing immoral in my eyes.

I'm not against protesting, nor am I for the Glazers. But this has been a shambles. I would advocate a mass boycott, season after season. We go on about them taking money, well why not stop giving them money to take?
