Protest at Old Trafford

It's such a reductive argument that the actions of so few individuals is somehow indicative of the overwhelming majority protesting in the right way. If you ceased the operation of protesting on the basis of rogue self-interest then there would be no protest in history, profitable or otherwise, that would have passed the criteria of being deemed ideal.

How who announced it?
What I mean is we heard nothing about this blackout until the beginning of this week or end of last week.

There were no rumours of it and all of a sudden the media and the EPL decide to act against racism in social media when they've done nothing for months.

It's as clear as day that a lot of you couldn't give a toss about the football club. Moaning about a delay, points being docked, punishing the players, making the club undesirable for future signings etc. are all so minor compared to getting the Glazers out.
It’s also clear that the protesters have not even the beginning of an idea of how to get the glazers out.

If these braindead people get the match cancelled I will burn every green and yellow flag I ever see.

It’s just one fecking game. This means more than your stupid Sunday night entertainment.

Excellent post, mate. You can't please all of the people all of the time. There will never be unanimity on the best way to protest.

Also why are the protesting trying to stop the team bus leaving Lowry hotel, this ain't ideal preparation for our squad before such a big game.

It’s not really though.

The FA will set a very harsh precedent in my opinion, we’re probably looking at a points deduction if they game doesn’t go ahead.

no chance we will just get away a fine or a replayed game.

Can't get my head around those being so arsed about the game getting delayed/called off. Do you not understand this would be a huge win for Glazers out? It would hit them where it hurts.

They shouldn't have done it before a game against our fiercest rivals. The game will most probably be called off and this will have an adverse effect on the psyche of the players. Even if the fans mean no harm, the players are always on the edge about safety. They can't give their 100% when this happens before a match.

I hope the game is called off now and the players are given some rest. It will be tough on them especially having mentally prepared to play Liverpool.

I agree with the protest and that Glazers are not the best owners but they could have done this on another day. I don't condone this behavior and I am surprised at others they do. This is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

I'm literally laughing at all those people who think that invading Old Trafford and showing vandalism on live TV is something that will make Glazers sell the club.

You're embarrassing the club we all love, you're devastating the ground you "love".

Two hundred drunken idiots have just made Glazers sell the club? Are you serious?

They've embarrassed the club, that's it.

its very disingenuous to suggest this one protest is expected to get them to sell

its making an impact which is important, and its a start

our owners tried to destroy football as we know it two weeks ago, did you forget?

@Maciek seriously it was annoying enough to read your opinion on the protests once - let alone have it spamming every page. Armchair fan of the year award - you can have it, no one else has a chance of competing.

I’d rather see more of @Pexbo.

Yes they do. This is exactly how we get them out. Its absolutely ridiculous to think that we can protest financially, you must be absolutely thick if you thick we could organise an economic protest.

This is the only way.

The shot they just showed had no-one on the pitch, so all they've done is irritated everyone by delaying things and causing a nuisance.

Bold move, but I doubt a single protest is going to make the Glazers change their mind. However, a series of protest will also harm the club's position in the league rendering all the players' efforts this year meaningless.
