It won't if the media make it about the ESL. It is about much, much more than that.In the grand scheme of things, that might be a worth sacrificing, because it sends the world a message of what United fans think of the Glazers, and it'll be embarrassing for them.
He was being sarcastic. How is it brilliant.
It's pointless scum behaviour.
You don't bully billionaires out.
The French are much better than us at it, ironicallyHas a “peaceful” protest ever achieved anything? The French Revolution didn’t happen because of a crowd of people holding hilarious meme-signs. I must stress, I’m not asking for anybody to get hurt, but come on. Enough is enough, if they can get the game delayed or postponed, that will be a big statement. The ruling class has done a great job of convincing the wider populace to be outraged over any protest that isn’t just a quiet crowd. A result of such peaceful times in the west, I suppose.
Sorry that my sarcasm didn’t come through well there. How is it brilliant.

Imagine the thread about it that would develop on hereImagine this happening in the old Veteran’s Stadium in Philly.
They literally had a jail under the fecking stadium. This would be a cop’s dream.
Protest, by definition, has to be disruptive. It's the metaphor of needing to break eggs to make an omelette. That's the whole point of protest. This isn’t helping the team and todays game.
- Gary Flintoff (BBC)We've got more fans inside the ground and this time they've actually come from the back of the stand and one or two have decided to roll down the tarpaulins towards the pitch.
At the moment its about 20 or 30, many of whom with hoods up with masks on fans and once again they're chanting "we want Glazers out".
We're being advised to move away from where we are broadcasting from.
Sorry that my sarcasm didn’t come through well there.
It’s fecking pathetic, even more so that the ‘ard cnuts on here apparently condone this idiocy.
Bigger picture. Top 4 safe. Worse case scenario forfeit match and lose the glazers a few mil. This isn’t helping the team and todays game.
No, it idiotic. The owners won't give a flying one about any of this with so much equity (profit) further down the line.
Apparently the ref has been turned away from the stadium. We'll probably end up giving away the three points for this.
One lad couldn't keep it together:
If they were serious about protesting, they should've sat on the pitch and refused to move.
The Glazers won't care. They'll sell the club when it suits them (not any time soon) and when they do the sad reality is that we'll probably be an oil money club.
They're going to tut and sign petitions.Nice to see people, that are doing feck all, condemning those that are trying whatever is possible and necessary. You have no right to moan against the Glazers, the club, the manager or the players for any matter.
In the grand scheme of things, that might be a worth sacrificing, because it sends the world a message of what United fans think of the Glazers, and it'll be embarrassing for them.
These are the guys we want owning 51% of the club?
It'll be remembered for fans looking like prats by running on the pitch, stealing corner flags, throwing cameras etc. Is that a positive statement for a 50+1 system?
Yes, protest should only be allowed via strongly worded letters or emails.Sorry that my sarcasm didn’t come through well there.
It’s fecking pathetic, even more so that the ‘ard cnuts on here apparently condone this idiocy.
Yep police now in the stadiumAccording to BBC text commentary another batch have gotten into the stadium? Surely kick off at least delayed.
