Pro Evolution Soccer 2011

Is their any theory or logic behind whether a player has a red arrow or green arrow etc? It's so rare I have red ones and when I do get them it's usually after they've had some international games.

I find it unbelieveble that football games still cannot sort out something as basic as that.

Stupid transfers and team selections aside (Chelsea using Vidic as a midfielder) I'm loving the Master League.
 
This has to be the most frustrating pes yet. Really, sometimes i feel i cant do anything. Had the game since it came out and im still grinding 1-0 wins on professional. Players are still missing from ridiculously close positions, and the defenders just seem to run away from the ball when the opposition pass it about.

Chicharito scored two for me against Liverpool, saying that he is not all that in the game.

Master League is fun but annoying. Lost the 1st leg in champs league quarter final 1-0 to Real Madrid/, got to do the job at Old Trafford.

League am 6th place and 8 points of Champions League. DAMN!
 
just got this yesterday, been playing exhibition matches against family. must say i'm enjoying it, seems to be a better control over where your passing goes.
some nice new animations too
 
That WENB option file is quality by the way, highly recommend it.

I'm about half-way through my first Master League season as United. Playing on professional and was struggling a bit to begin with but just got to the top of the league now after beating Liverpool 3-0 (late Macheda hat-trick haha) and went ahead of them. Very close league though, knocked out of the FA Cup and into the Last 16 of the CL.

Really enjoying the game now, the gameplay is much improved from last year's and it does all feel less predictable and their is definitely more freedom in passing, plays etc. The Master League has also been improved a fair bit.

FIFA 10 was terrible for weird transfers - haven't seen anything out of the ordinary on FIFA 11 yet though.

Lampard was captain against me last night though even though Terry John was playing as well :confused:

Well, Chicharito just scored the winner for me in injury time against Chelski, a first timed shot off the right post off a Rooney pullback from the right. Nothing changed though. The moment I pass him the ball need to shift it fast as he's very easily budged off it. Rooney and Berba are monsters for me though. Banging em in for fun on Top Player. Owen was doing alright but decided to sell him and Macheda and signed Henry as backup on a free.

I play and started my ML with "original players" - top player level settings, started in the D2 league with PES United and brought through some of my youngsters:

Shimizu
Schmidt
Palmieri
Palaez
Fatecha &
Schwarz

It is so difficult. Won the D2 league comfortably, got promoted to La Liga. (which i chose as i do not want to be there beating United time and again ;) ). Sitting on top of La Liga, 5 points ahead of Madrid and 6 ahead of Barca (after beating them both) after 12 rounds. It is so difficult though as you have to spend time scouring the freebie markets and apply for mainly loan transfers as players wont move to your team because you are so lowly ranked.

On course to winning La Liga in my first season, with Minanda and Ruskin the only "original" players left in my starting lineup.

Not the most attacking piece of play but a backpass; always useful.

Knocked out of champs league quarter fianl 2-2 lost on away goal to real madrid. and 5 points behind shitty who are 5th am 4th and i got around 7 games left i think. Need 4th.

On 2010 I'd repeatedly get something along the lines of "He should have looked to pass it really there" after missing penalties.
 
On my second season in Master League. Poor first season 6th in league out of FA Cup and Champs league in quarter final

The update will be automatically downloaded from 24th November, and adjusts the defender AI to allow for more consistent pressing from various situations and includes a series of alterations based on feedback from users. The difficulty and success rate of Rainbow Flicks has been adjusted to improve gameplay, while throw-ins can now be passed back to the taker. Cursor switching has been generally been improved including situations when the ball is crossed, while the way transfer fees are calculated in Master League has been reworked. Names above CPU players can also now be switched off as they mimic player settings. Shooting has also be tweaked to produce more realistic reactions and results depending on real-time situations.

Some chants within the game have also been refined or changed, and PC owners using relatively low-spec machines will also be able to find matches more easily within the game’s Legends mode.

I seem to have lost commentary after a failed install of kitserver, anyone know how to fix it?
 
Playing as united and I'm finding I just cannot sell players.
 
I hate AI Arsenal in PES. They're ridiculous in PES2011, I've found. Literally every time I've played them they've scored this goal at least once - tame shot from outside the area, VDS fumbles/parries to a waiting, completely unmarked Arsenal player in the box who just nods/taps it into an empty net. I'd bet serious money on them scoring that goal everytime I play them, it's completely inevitable.

Arsenal, feck sake.

It's a good game. Granted FIFA is better but the new PES is good.
