Premier League Not So Festive Season

Salah is in my fantasy team so it's all good. They are winning this at a canter anyway so might as well get some points out of it.

finally arse fans can shut up about torreira now

laughed so hard when he fell flat on his arse for firmino's second

Our squad needs huge investment to get compete for any sort of major trophy.

I would keep Torreira, Auba and Laca. Everyone else can go.

Did anyone deem Mane a joke? This place was buzzing when we were rumoured to want him. Some people were unconvinced because he only played for Southampton but I think most people wanted him here. Same with Firmino, most wanted us to go for him.
Buzzing haha. Dig up that summer transfer thread when it was rumored we had him because van gaal insisted on it.

Mane, a player we on the caf deemed a joke when he was heavily rumored to sign for us.

Salah, ex chelsea flop, huge question marks, not exactly someone the caf thought would do wonders in the premier league.

Firmino, caf was like "yeah would be nice but not that bothered it didn't happen when he was linked with us".

Klopp has made a frightening attack out of not so caf approved players. So don't even start on how he deserves no credit because he's got three world class stars. He made them.

Obviously he deserves credit, but is a Manchester United forum really the place he's expected to get it?

Think we need to wind our necks in a bit about where we are buying players from.

Anyone saying that was a dive are letting their bias get in the way, that was a blatant a pen as you will see, absolutely clumsy from Sokratis
I'm conflicted. It definitely looks like a penalty because of the 'hacking' movement by Sokratis, but on the other hand Salah got in front of him and then just stopped running. What's Sokratis supposed to do, read his mind and stop running before Salah does? I can't really see which of the contacts actually makes Salah go down.

It's pretty much the same as the attacker kicking your leg and then going down (Ashley Young special). Are you as a defender supposed to read his mind and remove your leg so the attacker can't kick it?

It shouldn't be possible - but I almost start believing in top-4 for us next season.

He signed two of them.

I imagine he saw Lichsteiner as a stopgap who could work with Bellerin, certainly not up to starting at Anfield at this stage of his career. Sokratis and Mustafi are much of a muchness, think their CB options are the weakest of all the top 6, and given how much shit the Utd group get, that says a lot.

Dive. 100%.

V soft penalty. There is contact, he could stay up but goes down as he knows will definitely get a pen.

In the palace game earlier this season he looked embarrassed. Guess he's used to it by now.

Imagine thinking that wasn't a penalty. Not once but twice he hacked away at him. I would have been fuming if Salah hadn't went down. That cheating simply can't go unpunished.

Kicked Salah on the back of the leg clear pen, stupid to even attempt a tackle in that position.

100% but he could easily have stayed on his feet, just because it was a foul doesn't mean he didn't dive.

That wasnt a dive, Sokratis is experienced enough not to do that.

But it was a dive last week Vs Newcastle, so he shouldn't even be on the pitch for this game to win and then take that penalty. Should have been banned like others have been.

Oh well, you need that sort of luck in a title winning season.

That said they deserve to win it this year. Hard to take for us but, 28 years is a long time too. Up to us to make them wait another 28 years...

Did anyone else expect anything different? Come on they gifted us 2 goals (when we were shit). So imagine how many would they give to a frightening Liverpool side .

People wanted him in the summer of 2016. In the summer of 2015 most wanted Pedro over him.

Don’t be a fanny. You’re 4-1 up, there’s no need to cover for that sort of nonsense.

I really don't know how that penalty could be any clearer. In real time as well as from the replays. Absolute stonewall.

Liverpool are 9 points top of the league and 10 points ahead of Man City

It's all kicking off in the tunnel...wonder if anyone's gonna get suspended.

If he doesn't go down, it doesn't get given. There was contact, from what point on players have the right to go down.

You do not have the right to dive because you've been kicked. Whether it gets given or not.

fecking useless. The scouse are going 9 points clear and I want to die.

Arsenal are useless but this will still do wonders for Liverpool's momentum. They'll win this game by five or six and can enjoy a 10 point lead over City. Given how they've conducted themselves so far this season- no losses, only eight conceded - I think we can safely say it's game over.

I'd love to see us fluke the CL but we are below probably eight other sides.

Miserable campaign that came about because we allowed that twat Mourinho to throw our season. He should have been sacked once he started agitating in the summer.
It's not over until its mathematically over, only a liverpool fan would say otherwise.

100% but he could easily have stayed on his feet, just because it was a foul doesn't mean he didn't dive.

What you talking if it's a foul it's a pen. Take your rose tinted glasses off, why should Salah stay on his feet if a defender is kicking him on the back of the leg making it more difficult to shoot?
