Premier League Not So Festive Season

I used to think the same about City (Sterling for example)but it's not a coincidence. Commit loads of players forward and you'll more likely get the benefit of doubt from refs.

While it's infuriating for rival fans Is it pretty obvious like you say.
Pacy players with good control playing for massively attacking teams will always rack up the pens.

Add in Sterling and Salah's propensity to go down with even a butterfly's touch and even more so.

If he was in midfield and that exact same thing happened, Salah would not go down and would probably leave the defender. There wasn't enough contact to make him go down. He only went down cause he was in the box. You can only convince someone who has never played football that it wasn't a dive.

What ?! The bolded pearl deserves some laughs :lol::lol:

Do you know what a dive is? Its someone deliberately throwing themselves on the ground.. did Salah do that? Or are you legit trying to say the force of the tackle put him down?

He was kicked in the back of the leg so foul and peno.
Then he dived on the ground to make sure it was given.

It's not hard to follow really.

Soft penalty, but peno nonetheless, and the defender didn't do himself any favors due to his poor/wrong positioning. Just brainless, desperate challenge.

Some still believe that cause they haven't won a trophy and Jose won 2.

Two ‘B’ category trophies while destroying the dressing room and causing chaos whereas Klopp has rejuvenated that club completely, got them to a CL final, have the best player in the league and play some of the best football we’ve seen for a while.

No comparison.

Not really. Just try understanding the meaning of a dive.

To clarify , you don't have to fall down to get a penalty. If you are "fouled" in the box you get a penalty and not going down.

Seems like only 4-5 weeks ago Man. City were about 10 goals better off in the GD compared to Liverpool. Now Liverpool is streaking ahead....and here comes Koscienly to add to that. :annoyed:

That's worth an extra point unless Man. City can turn things around on Thursday.

He's a brilliant player who is also a nasty, cheating little scrote who consistently gets away with it because he has a 'nice guy Salah' reputation. Same as Klopp gets away with a slap on the wrist fine because he's a lovable passionate dude, right?

He's like Ronaldo to be honest, such a serial diver that refs just accept it or else he'll get sent off every other game. Similar to how Diego Costa would make red card offences every few games but the refs would just have a word with him.

Nonsense. He got touched. "Hacked away at him"
Well to me kicking at someone while they're in front of you is the definition of hacking at someone. I do it all the time when I play football because I'm crap. I'm not saying it was assault but it was a foul. Wasn't getting near the ball and was impeding Salah.

Meh...I've made my peace with it all. It was bound to happen someday. They'll still be on 19...one behind us. It's been a splendid run of ineptitude, a joy to watch.....but now some pain to pay for it! To be honest, they way they have played this season, and if it continues, then hands up, they will have deserved it.

What a bitter post. I suppose that's what happens when you feck up yet another season despite being Europe's best team.

Could you please show me some examples from the past where Salah has displayed himself as a 'cheating scrote'?

Maybe you should look closer to home at the gormless twat Tottenham have upfront.

Do people in front of you flop over when you do it?

Do you really think that caused Salah to fall over?

Again, good example.

I don't think Emery rates many of this squad. Would absolutely love a massive clear out in the summer.

No because we're sunday league pub players. And most arsenal fans are fuming at Sokratis for doing something a sunday league pub player would do.

This is fecking hilarious coming from a Liverpool fan.

Maybe against Newcastle where he cheats to win a penalty, but gets away with it? Or tonight, where again he blatantly goes down because he feels contact rather than actually being brought down. Maybe when he tried to punch Bruno Martins Indi but got away with it because it's lovely little Salah. He's a cheating, diving little shit bag who consistently escapes attention for his simulations.

Kane dived, got a yellow card, we didn't get a free kick. Fair play. Salah escapes attention and punishment constantly.

It was a bit amateurish but I don’t think it was a foul.

Salah went down way too easily and conned the ref. Not that it matters because you’ve already won this game.

there you go.

Everyone is handing the league on a plate to Liverpool and Salah is in the Egyptian Olympic Diving team!

Mane's a cheat too. Should have been sent off vs Palace last season, and again tonight. He's allowed to kick Son in the box and nothing happens as well.

Liverpool team is full of them. Van Djik earlier this season with a despicable challenge in a crucial game vs Napoli, gets away with it.
