Premier League Matchweek 3 (26-27 August)

against everton he said it was the proudest day of his life.

He is an absolute tool

I have always preferred Mourinho. Think hes better. He has spent half a billion in one year i read somewhere, no PL or CL win this year and he has to go.

Pep has done it at a team who had 3 or 4 of this generations greats with one an absolutely unarguable top 5 of all time, and a Bayern team who were already super dominant.

Even if he does well at City it's no sign of his genius, just that he's come into another strong squad, and spent unprecedented cash.

While Mourinho has done it at lesser teams, and even Chelsea he was the trail blazer for a team who had pretty much zero history of league success.

I have yet to be impressed by Ndidi. He's a shit marker and his passing is atrocious.

Well, United look so rock solid.

We still lack attacking FB's and any width at all. Teams will congest the middle against us during the season and we will draw\lose games as a result.

Encouraging start, but City still favourites with the transfer window they've had.

The difference is I feel, you guys are not having to chase silly mistakes like City are so far. So instead once you get your breakthrough teams have to come out and play against you, so you grab the 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.. once you got the first.

Our leaky defence means we go one down and end when we get the inevitable first goal, teams can still sit in knowing they've still got a point.

The reason you've been so impressive is you've been getting that first goal and than mauling teams when they have to come out and play.

We've been giving away a goal or taking too long to bury chances. I feel when either team scores the first goal they'll dominate games as you have. The main thing is you are way less likely to concede a stupid one on the break at them minute. Today until the first went it I was seeing shades of City, not in style but in you being limited to half chances and Pogba trying his luck from the edge of the box while Leicester parked the bus. Once you got the breakthrough you created more clear opportunities imho, you were always going to get at least a second.

Just had a read of Arsenal Mania to see how they're feeling about tomorrow. What a bunch of wimps.

Loads of them reckon we'll turn them over. I expect a narrow 3-2 for either side or a high scoring draw.

Going to be an interesting game between Pool and Arse. Wonder if Sanchez will start?

I hate admitting it, but I think ye will. Mane will do well i hope....

..................................... Karius

AA ............. Matip ......................... Lovren ........... Robertson

..................................Henderson

................... Can ............................ Wijnaldum

Mane ......................... Firmino ........................... Salah

Ward, Gomez, Klavan, Milner, Grujic, Sturridge, Solanke

With Sanchez and Koscielny both back and Arsenal with otherwise a full strength team (Ox not in the squad so the rumours go) that's just had 7 days rest, then I'll probably be happy enough with a draw. Until we start the game of course ..... then I'll be expecting a win.

I hope Arsenal and Liverpool draw but can't see anything except a Liverpool win, 3-1 easily for them.

Liverpool v Arsenal game is a win-win for us

Pool win and we get ArsenalFanTV meltdown
Arse win and we get RAWK meltdown
A draw is also good.

and we'll have a bigger points advantage on one or both of them.

And it will be a good game to watch because of the 2 shambolic defences.

Can it be coincidental that West Ham get turned over by relegation fodder when they recall James Collins? Horrific "defender".

Swedish TV-channel Viasat informed us yesterday: "you're reading that correctly, we will not be showing Chelsea–Everton tomorrow as originally planned"

Because it had been moved by the Premier League or something, didn't hear exactly what was said.

"We'll be showing West Brom–Stoke instead"

Premier League's broadcasting structure is way more complex than it should be.
