Premier League Matchweek 3 (26-27 August)

That still doesn't take away what was said by @Red Devil 26, though. Even when Silva is used to the league and hits top form, he still wouldn't offer anything a lot different to what we've currently got.

Yeah that was my point exactly. He may well go on and have a great season, but he has very similar traits to what most of their players behind the striker already contribute.

That was just fishing for an argument haha. My missus won't let me to the pub for the gaelic football and the boxing so I'm bored.
:lol:Fair enough.

The more you watch palace the more you think they'll definitely go down. Hard to believe De Boer was a name being thrown around when we hired Pochettino.

De Boer will not last for long, there is no way that hyped crowd will tolerate his style of play.

Does anyone know how the Palace fans reacted to him joining in the first place?

Oh, great. Another smug Spurs fan with his "Pochettino is the best manager in the world" spiel.

I kid, I kid. Just entertaining myself since the football isn't

De Boer is a crap manager who thinks he's better than he's actually is. I expect him to be sacked by October at best. Maybe in September as well.

That's clearly not what he is saying.
EDIT: white text

He's under huge mounting pressure, you can see it from his weird demeanour v Everton and today.
They'll need to get a lot better against even remotely decent teams.
against everton he said it was the proudest day of his life.

He is an absolute tool

I have always preferred Mourinho. Think hes better. He has spent half a billion in one year i read somewhere, no PL or CL win this year and he has to go.

OK

Managerial casualty prediction time time

De Bore or Bilic?

Bilic gets my vote

I'm a bit fed up they've managed to get that goal, I was following the match on the BBC and it looked all set for a draw. A draw would have put more pressure on Pep and his antics would have been scrutinised further. Their struggle against inferior teams is a good sign for us, it's precisely the same as last year.

We've just got to make sure we do the job today. I watched Leicester against Arsenal and Leicester looked great on the counter. They're as astute and quick as they used to be so we have to be wary.

Good god. De Boer first to get sacked?

I fear for Tofu-Mensah if that happens. Though he has been one of their better performers.

Depends who would be after De Boer in case DB gets sacked but if they go and focus for survival, think TFM will be dropped regardless of how he played till then. If that scenario happens we should pull him off asap.

Palace are shocking so far this season. What is de Boer training them to do? Looks like he's got his tactics straight out of the critically acclaimed book 'David Moyes: The 13-14 adventure'

He doesn't know football outside Holland.

Honestly both of these teams should be in the Championship
