Premier League matchweek 2 (august 19th-21th)

Did Spurs really dominate? Yeah they had a lot of the ball, but they hardly had any clear cut chances in the second half. Chelsea will be back when Hazard returns. But I think it'll be between the Manchester clubs this season.

Typical derby game, could go either way. Well done Chelsea we just couldn't break them down today.

Can we just relegate Spurs to the Conference so the points can go to other teams who aren't destined to fail at every single turn?

Considering the players they were without, Chelsea did very well defensively. Christensen was dodgy as hell but they survived.

None of the top sides look particularly good ATM, though admittedly it's only been 2 rounds. I'll hold off on judgment of us.

1-1 would probably have been better for us, but the style of that late winner and meaning Tottenham are straight off losing a "home" game is good news.
Keeps both teams 3 points away from us as well.

Well... It was entertaining.

What I learned today, these teams don't scare me.

Agreed. Chelsea look ordinary IMO. They need transfers up front. Spurs will do fine and finish top 4 but when it really matters in the big games they don't have the experience to cope. Losing that 2nd goal today was unacceptable, very poor from them.

They had multiple oppurtunities from good positions but couldn't make anything out of it.

Well after this weekend we are ahead on points over Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. Can't complain. Let's hope the Everton can do a job tomorrow.

Years ago, arsenal used to be bottlers and spurs were the laughing stock.

How the roles have reversed now?. The only thing that hasn't is How they still remain Chelsea's pocket...

Right after the OG, somehow Lloris's mistake when France played Sweden popped into my mind. I see why. Worst keeper for any of the top 6 sides.
Nah he's better than Ederson and Mignolet and I'd take him over current Cech. Not fit to lace Davids boots, but then again I don't think many keepers are.

Spurs had a little spell at the end of first half/beginning of second but none of them look anything special so far.

Every team will play at Wembley like it is a final and will give Spurs a game (except Liverpool).

On Friday Night Football last year. Then she got a lot of stick from Spurs fans so she quit from Sky Sports.
She told the truth, why quit? Oh well I guess she isn't Katie fecking Hopkins who doesn't give a shit

A bit harsh. I think 'Pool would rather have Lloris than Mignolet or Karius. He's not on DDG's or Cech's level but he is a class Keepert nevertheless. The Poch is actually quite strict with his players
