Premier League matchweek 2 (august 19th-21th)

As an Aussie I really hope Mooy has a good season. Pleased I get to see more of him this year, too.

Carragher's a commentator now as well? I like him as a pundit but not convinced with him in this role.

Never heard of him but looks a decent player.

He was a clear level above the local league here in Australia. He's got a lot of good attributes: good set-piece taker, decent passing range, always looks for the ball. I thought it'd be his lack of athleticism and defensive frailty that hurt him but he seems to be improving mentally which is masking his deficiencies. Definitely getting better at controlling the tempo of a game.

Distinct lack of quality in this match.

Chelsea are the better team. So it would be better if Spurs won.
I expect it to be a draw.

They are not better

Hope Tottenham smash Chelsea tomorrow. Can't wait for a total meltdown at the Bridge and still furious at that toupee wearing wanker going batshit crazy celebrating the fourth goal against us last season.

Tottenham will always be Tottenham so nothing to worry about on that front.

He had three hair transplants

Can Newcastle really afford to go the season with Dwight Gayle as their striker? He has never impressed me. Or am I just really underrating him as a player

He's one of the Premier League greats - he was responsible for Crystalbul

Anything that requires him to speak is terrible. All of Carragher's punditry/commentary should be written down and then Sky should hire Matt Berry to sit alongside him and read it out.

Someone should invent a voice equaliser app, then we can change Scouse to English. Problem then is you'd actually understand what he's saying.

This match has been shite. Newcastle have an absolutely terrible squad, no wonder Benitez is frustrated

It's an atrocious squad. I can see them going straight back down unless they sign someone who can drag them through the mud. Someone like Hernandez for instance would have been perfect, but they let fecking West Ham nick him.

Yep, I can't see it ending well for them.

The shirt for him should be double the price as it uses twice as much material.
Yeah slimming down for the 2XL doesn't seem to have crossed his mind.

Newcastle really need to spend some money. That team is utter dross.

So it appears that the happy medium between how good Tom Ince thinks he is, and how well I've seen him play is Huddersfield Town.
