Premier League matchweek 2 (august 19th-21th)

Wenger killed the match by his idiotic decision to put Walcott instead of Lacazette leaving Welbeck on the pitch.

New season, same old Wenger.

What are the odds Wenger will blame the ref and get away with it again?

Some stats: possession second half stoke 17% arsenal 82%
Shot attempts: ramsey 4, welbeck 3, ox 3

Someone might as well just do a copy and paste job on Wikipedia for Arsenal's 2017/2018 season, to save the hassle. Seriously though, it's all a bit sad at this point. Wenger will be remembered for the wrong reasons, instead of the good he did at that club, and it's his own fault really.

True that but he has to blame himself for that. Clinging on his job for far too long. He got q chance (again)to leave on a high after winning the fa cup but no he decided to stay. Even the most deluded arsenal fans (they have the hierarchy in delusion) have also come to realise they are in for another long season.

Not a great performance let's be honest. Palace just got thumped by Huddersfield Town and are still trying to find their feet under new management.

Liverpool were expected to win but made alot of hard work over it!
I'll take it though. They sat back and that was something we struggled with last season. Doesn't mean we can break every team down that does it, but it's a start

Hopes he's ok :D.

Arsenal robbed of a clear penalty in the first half in my opinion.

Fantastic win for Stoke, but Arsenal look like they could be beat week in week out this season. So mentally soft, Gerrard was spot on at half time, they half arse their defensive duties and teams love having a go at them as they know they will get a goal.

Good man Jese.

Either Chelsea and Spurs drop points tomorrow and Everton can be City even though it's a big ask.

Everton will upset quite a few teams with the squad they've purchased. Some excellent buys for their standards.

So poll says that half a foot offside is offside?

Yes... As per the rules, its offside... Keown/ Stevie Me said the ref must have guessed it and Poll said it doesn't matter how the ref got it, its right, so he should be appreciated. Then Keown went on a rant/mumbling/some non sense about 100% certainty etc..,

He wouldn't be saying that if Stoke had been on the end of that decision. Sour grapes from Keown.

Cheers. I have always been unclear on the exact rule. It used to be that there should be 'air' between the players for it be offside and then to give the advantage to the attacker. I prefer the black and white interpretation.

Jey M scored the winner against Arsenal?

Great, his value already went up from "we'll only take him on loan if you pay half his wages" to €20m.
