Premier League - Matchday 20

Commentators at the beginning of the game made a point of saying spurs were clear of relegation, even though they're just 2 points ahead of United.
They are woeful.

Newcastle's midfield and attack function very well together. They press aggressively and they attack well together. They seem to have an understanding of their positions and have that instinct on when the right time is to pounce. They also control the ball well when they have it.

Didn’t Newcastle start the season of bad? They look very good now.
They were total shite for the first few games. Several of the results they got were pure jamminess.

Been a lot better since Tonali came back probably.

Newcastle are an emerging team. It'll be interesting to see what they do in their next windows to take them to the next level. Difficult to see what their true potential and limit is. They look great right now.

This patched together Spurs defence are not comfortable at all playing out from the back

Another example of teams and managers doing well in systems with certain players. City are the same without there man Rodri. Yet Amorim’s expected to work miracles with awful players.

I think it was just over a month ago a poster was telling me Rashford was better than Gordon and deserved to be in the England squad ahead of him

I don't think anyone is expecting miracles. Better than he is getting out of the current lot is reasonable.

How is that Joelinton handball not getting called back? That's the sort of handball you call against yourself when playing pickup footy ffs, let alone a ref calling it against you

I’d throw silly money at Isak.
It's a bit scary to throw those 120/150M figures floating around for somebody who have some injury issues. The sort of transfer that can catapult you to the top or drown you for years.

Is that not a bit reckless from Kulusevski? Sure it might not be intentional but he's charged in, got nowhere near the ball and smashed the player right in the nose with his shoulder. It's a foul.
