In the final replay it didn't look so clean cut. He's pulling his arm away from the ball and it seems like it hits him in the chest.
Gordon is class
Gordon's defensive work-rate and ability to sniff danger is exceptional for a winger.
I remember when Chelsea wanted Gordon and everyone on here laughed.
He's annoyingly pretty good for Newcastle. Can't fault his work ethic.
When he was at Everton he was very hot and cold with no end product. Had bags of energy and his work rate was exceptional but felt like he would either flop massively or do what he's doing now with no in between. Fair play to both him and Howe.
This is just wishful thinking and not possible beyond offside. Judgement and common sense is also needed.
