Premier League Gameweek 6

The City lineup was already indicating that Pep "respects" this away fixture. Gundogan at #10, Lewis helping Kovacic in midfield, Grealish and Bernardo as ball-retention wingers over low-block breakers Savio and Doku who take more risks.
Yup poor showing from Pep today. Negative lineup and it showed.

Saka captains Arsenal with Saliba, Gabriel and Rice in the side. Feels odd but really pleased for him.

Edit : Didn’t realise he was last week too.
Think it's Odegaard > Saka > Jorginho (if playing) > Zinchenko/Jesus (but they're not playing a lot) > Rice. Rice will probably go up to third next season.

Not sure about that. There are similar profiles to Rodri out there, but they're inferior in the end. Also, City's recruitment has been a bit suspect in the last few years IMO.
Dunno why though dint just slot Nunez into the rodri role. Similar player

That’s true tbf but they’ll probably secure someone like Zubimendi and somehow he’ll slot in seamlessly and City will still rattle off 18 wins in 19 games.

Unfortunately they would be fine , it might take bit of time for Guardiola to find the magic formula but he will do it .

Arsenal would have to do what Liverpool did when they won the league. Go into such a big lead by Jan that City are forced to just focus on the CL despite strengthening in the next window.

What do Brentford do? Haven't seen any of the goals but they've scored in the first minute three matches in a row now!

The feck was Sanchez doing:lol:

Brighton get some good luck.

Brentford have scored in the opening minute in three consecutive games:
City (22 seconds)
Tottenham (23 seconds)
West Ham (38 seconds)

Slow start today.

So pleased that Rutter is off the mark - what a mistake from Chelsea

Caicedo & Colwill together managed to produce an easy goal for Brighton :D

Surely there are worse teams than Everton in the EPL? I can't believe they might go down, but can not see where they'll get their points, they need to equalise and then win today.

Frank must give a hell of a pre-match team talk.

Definitely a foul by Saliba before the goal
