Premier League Gameweek 5

You say trolling, but tell me what i said that was wrong? If you can't, give up on football and start watching a different sport.
You making out like Pochettino is the best manager football has ever seen IS trolling at this point.

He’s a good manager, no more, no less.

Felt like the announcer was about to do a Johnny Carson bit about Ashley Young’s age.

Apparently Ashley Young made his debut 20 years ago.

Still unsure why Pickford wasn't a target for us.
Composed on the ball, distribution is decent, can save, probably would have jumped at the chance of a step up.

Pathetic defending. Play to the whistle, what with VAR now.

Scrap that, var does rescue them.

Chelsea less points and goals scored in the 5 Premier league games. Losing 3-1 to ten man West Ham, losing and not scoring at home to Forest and following up that defeat by not scoring today is worse than what United have done so far this season. Tottenham,Arsenal and Brighton who all beat United will also beat that Chelsea side in current form.

tbf though we’ve scraped a win against wolves that we didn’t deserve as they should’ve had a stonewall pen awarded then we struggled to beat 10 man forest through a dodgy pen decision In our favour we could very easily be sat on 2 points now.

Neville calling bullshit on var. where was this energy 2 weeks ago?

Hmm I dunno I don’t trust the angle they used (don’t care though cos it’s Arsenal and I love any slight against them :D)

Again, that's a dreadful angle. It's not even karma, since it's only Everton and they'll just smash them anyway

First time I'm getting annoyed by Neville. Was he similarly disappointed when offside was given against United as well? He sounds really really sad about this offside call.

same as Garnacho the other week - nothing will convince me that Alejandro was offside

Happy thats its offside, but dont get it. The Arsenal defenders tries to pass another player and the Everton forwards ”wins” the ball that leads to Arsenal player in offside position getting it.

Could swear Salah got a goal against Wolves(?) last year he was clearly offside, but because the Wolves defender actively tried to take the ball, and not just a touch, it was given a goal.

The penalty against wolves you would rarely see given anyway, but that in bold has to be a joke

Dodgy pen  honestly, this place.

The only problem with that is you're talking 3 CBs, would they all be named on the bench with someone like Colwill on the pitch who could move across if one of the CBs got injured.

Chelsea do stockpile in some odd areas. Could understand it more if Silva had left but while he remains he's obviously going to start majority of matches given he's the most experienced player by a mile. Not sure why Chalobah didn't go either if Bayern Munich were really in for him unless Poch has promised him a fair chance when he's fit. You seem to have a squad for playing three matches every week when in reality it's going to be mostly one game a week up to December.

Nkunku, James and Lavia are big misses for sure but then it's no different to the next team you're playing with all of Mings, Buendia out long term and Alex Moreno and Jacob Ramsey yet to play this season so sometimes you'll have injury crisis in period of season and just have to get on with it.

Bournemouth also missing a fair few when you look at them signing Tyler Adams and Alex Scott and those two still aren't fit.

Well it’s still 12 injuries to first team players, around 4-5 would be starters, the rest being quality depth. I don’t know how you can spin that into ‘well it’s not that bad actually.’.

We should still be doing much better with the players available, so it doesn’t excuse the results but my initial response was to the lack of a recognised bench options beyond Chilwell, Maatsen and Palmer.
