Premier League Gameweek 5

McKenna was in my brother's year at school and he was a gobby cnut so it's nice when he's shown up.

Just tell the ref on the field there is an elbow. Why waste this time?

Very happy that has been given.. shit like that happens a lot.

Yeah.. the monitor was unnecessary.. Suspect its just for the optics.. letting the ref on the pitch make the final decision.

Remember when swinging an elbow in the face of an opponent wasn't even a foul? Oh right, it was only two days ago, and it's not a foul if you're doing it while in possession of the ball and end up scoring a goal afterwards.

Thomas Frank seems to be a very intelligent coach. Brentford are another well run club with one of the top coaches in the league.

Until he’s at a bigger club. A lot of managers get praised for doing great jobs at their current clubs which is great but that’s because it’s their standard of club. Once they move to a bigger team it crumbles…

And what about the ones that don’t crumble, is there no chance he’s one of them

Quite like Kompanys interviews, doesn't bother with all the refereeing bollocks and excuse making. Dodges the loaded questions too.

A question nobody knows yet. How many of them are they though?
Well there are some, and the majority worked their way up to bigger clubs, maybe Frank will get there maybe he won’t, just seems an eagerness from many to write off any praise the likes of Frank Ange and de Zerbi are receiving atm because of the sensitivity around Ten Hag

I agree with what your saying but if I remember correctly ETH was also getting lots of praise while at Ajax… them 3 managers have done great jobs so far, especially Frank and De Zerbi, I just think sometimes there’s no need to jump ship as quick as some managers do.
