Surely now one of the players gotta do a similar challenge like this and then complain to the ref if you get a yellow
 
Martinelli is a fecking cnut. How can the Arsenal players complain when they just got away with a massive one?

That first Arsenal challenge sees a straight red for us. I’m absolutely shocked how it wasn’t even a card. It was common assault. One of the worst decisions I’ve seen this season

They weren't restricted, they chose to take the foot off the gas. Been the story of the recent league success. But, Dyche has turned Everton into a solid hard working unit who seem cohesive, total opposite of how Frank "kept" them up. He kind of didn't, the sheer weight of being Everton and having a bit of talent in Richarlison did.... Dyche doesn't really have talent to rely on, so the old fundamentals of surviving the Premiership at the bottom.

I wonder if the referees even understand why they stop the play for head injuries but not for other injuries? Could it be something to do with with head injuries being dangerous? And if so, should tackles that risk severely injuring an opponent’s head be penalised?

Same with the recent overhead kicks we’ve seen lately.

So what though? The players shepherding the ball out example is a different situation. Haaland stops in front of a moving Pickford a bit too.
It would've been very soft to me, but you're clearly up in arms about it.

The xG says different. Up until they scored it was a good game from us and gameplan was going well.
 
Does no-one enjoy a bit of physicality and needle in a match these days?

The people at Brighton who are in charge of recruitment all deserve raises. The amount of press resistant players they've brought in on such a small budget is admirable.
 
Martinelli should have been sent off for that “challenge” was not even looking at the ball.
Completely deserved what happened next.
 
The atmosphere at arsenal's stadium sounds so weird given they badly need a win here
