Premier League Gameweek 32-33

Unfortunately I think their dominance will continue for many years yet. I bet they will get no punishment either besides a laughable fine.

Quite a sickening thought to be fair, a lot of the media love them also and think they are the best thing since sliced bread.
They will have a 'come down' by their own standards when Pep leaves.

It's ridiculous how packed their squad is.

City surrounding the ref is completely fine but if it's United, straight to jail.

Bruno should just learn from Grealish and get better hair and brain cell reduction and the problem will go away.

What kind of self respecting man wears an Alice band? What's worse is there's two of them on the pitch. Deary me.

Smart from Arsenal to stop pressing so high with how easily City cut through them. I thought sitting deeper would hurt them but it's worked better so far.

Still no booking  Just barges into him as they lose the ball with many committed forward

Arsenal have responded fairly well to that opening/goal to be fair.

Not sure they have tbh. City just setting traps for them, letting them have the ball as they aren't able to do anything with it.

City are doing what Fergie used to do to Arsenal basically.

Is Michael Oliver literally reffing this game any way he feels like? It feels like referees are almost making it up as they go along to suit the PL's thirst for drama. So poor.

Yeah which shouldn't be the case. I understand that closer title races are more interesting and the same tends to happen in American sports' playoff system where referees tend to be generous to the trailing the team to make for an exciting and close finish.

It's ridiculous, and drama should have no bearing on decisions.

It’s funny that the points Chelsea earned under Tuchel is probably what will keep them comfortably safe.

Chelsea losing, obviously.

God I wish they had 2 or 3 less wins... they'd be fecked.

Should be giving Tuchel a guard of honour for scrapping enough points at the start of the season prior to his departure otherwise like you said, they’d be in a scary situation if it weren’t for 2-3 wins.

This atmosphere. Actually just saw a girl with her head on the woman's shoulder next to her asleep

Can anyone explain why Arsenal play Holding instead of shifting White across and playing Tomiyasu? Is Tomiyasu injured? Holding is so obviously substandard.

Yes I am aware of echoes of Maguire...

Arsenal went 1-0 down in 1989 too…

I loathe the commentary - just no mention of how some second rate provincial team suddenly became a footballing machine. I have equal contempt for the likes of Guardiola and de Bruyne who have devoted the best years of their career to an oil-funded, financially profitable gamed system (while failing repeatedly in Europe/internationally). Up to us and Madrid I guess….
