Premier League Gameweek 3

Off the ground and knee high, studs showing? Not reckless or dangerous.

I swear when the referee was looking at the monitor he was going to be, WTF has this even been reviewed?

It's a red 8 days a week.
You do realise that when people say studs showing, they mean that they are pointed at the player, not just that you can see them on the bottom of the boot

Which is why he goes down holding his knee in agony.

Actually the worst thing about this incident, is that from the footage there's no reason for the referee to overturn it. He must have been ordered to do it by VAR. That's violates the VAR protocol and is an error in applying the current the laws of the game.
stop it !! he was asked to review his red and he did, how is it violating anything, he made a mistake and admitted it, oity other refs dont do the same.

"Not for me" - I'm assuming we agree on the actual card it should be getting on old school perceptions..... but where his studs and his highness has recently (well as far back as like 10 years now) been a red in the 'modern game' when discussed in studios. If the actual football hasn't saved previous players from getting reds in previous knees, nor should incredibly luckily hitting the inside leg instead of the outside leg clearly with your studs.
His studs are nowhere near him ffs.

Look down at your foot.

Look at the outside of your right foot.

That is what taps KDB left thigh.

You're welcome

Got to love it when a player spends two minutes sparked out after being smashed in the face with the ball, then when they’ve been helped to their feet on shakes legs they moan about being taken off.

if it was studs into his knee id agree, but it was literally just a leg across that tripped that isn’t dangerous or likely to cause injury.

if it was a tiny bit lower on the shin would you be saying the same thing? context is everything.

I hate seeing reds unless they’re really warranted, for me that didn’t reach the threshold.

yellow + 5 min sin bin would be ideal.

Yeah and I'm talking about KdB's right leg... which is where the studs are hitting if it doesn't luckily tap the left.

You're welcome, but I'm not teaching you to read, so I guess you're welcome to nothing here.

Great stuff that. City responded superbly, ASM maybe gassed after 65 mins with the intensity he plays at?
