I dont mind if the result stays as it is.
I feel like James' movement was just natural, he was moving that way and the ball just hit his arm. Very harsh red.
What's weird is Taylor spent like 2 seconds at the VAR monitor.
Scoop makes it sound more than what it was. He pushed his arm slightly out and it was clearly from panic instinct than trying to actively cheat. There's a difference and the referee was pretty daft to assume a player trying to knee the ball away at first, where the ball rolled up toward his arm, was somehow trying to simulate foul play.He scooped it up with his right hand/arm even though it came off his thigh.

Salah pen
1-1
Don't understand, the rule is apparently that if the ball comes from the foot onto the arm it's not a handball. James didn't extend his arm.
If it’s a pen then it’s an auto red. Can’t blame the ref thereRef has fecked Chelsea here. Penalty yes, red card no. Will make for an interesting second half, though.

Only watched the last twenty but my word, is that Lukaku going missing again?
I don't know what you guys are watching. Some are even saying it wasn't a foul.
It deflects off his thingh but the ball was still going in. He moves his arm towards the ball to ensure he blocks it. Entirely deliberate.
Its a pen and a red card all day long.
If your going to give someone a mouth full trying to play hard at least stop walking backwards while your doing it. Pointless.Big man Henderson
But not a red. His arm was where it should beHe moved his arm to block the ball. It’s handball.
It was a red card, he moves his arm to scoop the ball out
Extremely biased ref indeed. No cards for Salah, Matip and FabinhoRed card all day. But previous situations where he didn’t give yellow makes this just a game where it shows how Liverpool will get everything this year. The refs can just make that clear with some statement so we don’t need to wonder.
It was completely intentional. He panicked. Ball hit has leg, bounced into arm and then he swung his arm through it to ensure it didn’t go in.For it to be a pen it has to be intentional, and if it’s intentional then it stops a goal so it’s a red card.
Right decision according to the rules but I do think it’s harsh. There’s no way it’s intentional, only an idiot like Suarez does that.
Home ground refereeing.Salah kicked the ball away but no card but Mendy booked for the same. Liverpool getting all the crucial decision
It's another white guy who did that. Why did Christensen head the ball out of Mendy's hands though?
What was with that? He just saw a still image once and made his mind up.He definitely didn't look at it for long enough.
It's not natural. It was a desperate, scooping motion. He's lucky the ball hit his knee first, the intention was to play it with his hand (clearly a reflex).
Rules have to be changed if that's a red card. Ridiculous
Yep, the red is very harsh.
Peak "Let me at him" whilst nobody holds him back and he walks backwards away from him. Wilshire levels of Napoleon complex billy big bollocks.Big man Henderson
