Premier League Gameweek 29

Eriksen is a specimen. People talk about Kane and Alli being the star players but at the very least he is on that level.

Spurs are Soton's bogey team. Not expecting anything from this one.

I knew its going to be Dier or Deli Alli to step up when Kane is out. Can't see Spurs bottling top 4 tbh.

Edit: My bad, Eriksen scored.

It feels weird united are so close when they've drawn so many. Then i remember we've lost probably three times as many and youse are unbeaten since October.
Same, it feels so weird too. 10 draws is just unacceptable. Without wishing to brag, I thought our unbeaten run is quite impressive, that's 5 months, almost coming to 6 not losing.

PS: I hope I don't jinx us!

As usual, teams playing away to Spurs just shit themselves in the pants after going 1 goal down.

Spurs definitely playing Champions League football again next season. Was hoping for two draws this afternoon to make it a good day for us.

Tadic lucky that's offside because it would have been one of the misses of the season.

Actually it just went out of play.

I wouldn't say that. It's just Spurs doing a great job with their pressing and defensive shape whilst being a big threat going forward with their robust yet skilled attacking players. The tempo that Spurs are playing in is making it difficult for Southampton to hold them back. They switch the ball from one side to another quite quickly, and the front 3's movement is really difficult to contain as it's quite varied. Combine that with the strong midfielders that Spurs have, and you can see why they're controlling the game.

Now that Gabbiadini's out, I can see Southampton struggling some more. He draws defenders towards him and creates space for Redmond and Tadic as a result.
