Premier League Gameweek 17-19

This Spurs side are so low on confidence and belief, what has happened to them? Compare this to their first 10 games with Conte (W6, D3, L1) they were showing some good promise, but has ultimately fell flat as the weeks have gone on, head scratcher...

Olise is super talented. Surprised he was never rumored for right wing for us, especially if that 35 million release clause is real. Obviously still inexperienced and not super productive yet but he's not much rawer than Antony and is certainly more two-footed (I like Antony to be clear). Don't think we'll go for him if we bring Amad back unless ETH sees Amad as a 10.

They don't even score a ton but Eze, Zaha and Olise are so fun to watch together in full flow. Too bad they have to play with Jordan Ayew.

The £35m clause was real but no longer valid as far as I understand (luckily for us).

Edouard should be the main man up top but has flattered to deceive so far. Ayew definitely not the answer though.

Makes you wonder if Spurs are really this bad or Conte is sabotaging to squeeze Levy for transfer money

Having a look at Spurs fixture list....

They could be 10th by the end of Jan.

Does Eze just look really good or is he really good? I hardly watch Palace but he’s shown loads of beautiful touches, dribbles well, seems to use the ball intelligently…wonder how high he could go?

Very easy on the eye but needs to improve massively without the ball. Olise has a higher ceiling for sure

I don't think it was a pen..the oppo player just put his foot in the way on purpose

unfortunately that type of penalty has been given many times this season with a guy just getting his foot in front of the ball before the tackle arrives...slight contact and they go down like they were shot

They started well in terms of results but they've been playing like shit all season really.

You can't play badly and win every week, eventually the luck runs out

Palace needs to find a striker that can score some goals. They are playing well just can’t score. You put a decent striker in that team and they could compete for conference or EL. Someone like Ivan Toney and they would be a really good team.
They bought Edouard and he’s terrible, should’ve known better than get carried away with his numbers in Scotland

That was always going to happen. Spurs dominated by Palace and they take the lead. Palace needed to take their chances.

Typical conte goal. Get hammered and score your only chance tactics.

Been championing him for a while. Before his move to Palace. Would be a good signing for United even now.

Wycombe had him on loan in league 2 a few years ago.
It was almost embarrassing having a player of his quality down there.

Palace are always willing to take a chance on players from a league below. Olise another good pick up.

Eze can definitely make the next step up though and hope United are looking at him

This is why we need a pure goalscorer. Spurs haven’t even done much but they took their 2 chances and scored. If you’ve got a goalscorer like that then you’ll get away with bein shite.

Seems like Tottenham finally woke up after sleeping for the first half, I'm impressed by Gil I must say.

Football has changed hell of a lot since Conte won the league at Chelsea.

Put it this way, I wouldn’t want to watch Conte-ball every week.

I wouldn't want Conte either, but 3 at the back isn't a bad thing and he's been a very successful manager. Very extreme, but still. Spurs will Spurs.
