Premier League Gameweek 17-19

West Ham are very strange this year. Top half squad on paper with good options off the bench but have completely gone off the boil.

Bryan Gil has looked really good so far. Every other time I've seen him play for Spurs he's been invisible. Clearly talented though.

I was devastated when I read that Jones left (with a loss to Stoke in his final game... how ironing )... but Rob has just picked up where he left off. To be fair to Jones, his recruitment was stellar considering our budget.

Oh yeah, remember that game. I don't know why these up and coming managers run before they can walk. He could easily have done a Bournemouth with Luton and gained serious street cred like Eddie Howe. There was no rush.

Now he'll be dumped by Southampton back to the bottom of the heap. Then again, the managerial merry-go-round is pretty crazy, so he'll probably rock up at Wigan next as things ain't really working out for Kolo there.

Moyes had a team that had won the league the year before finish 7th

Not everyone has to play this possession based, pressing style to win. Spurs have a good team overall, but are currently hit with injuries - Kulusevski was a massive reason they finished where they did last year, Richarlison is out, as is Bentancur.

Conte won the league with a back 3, which is what Tuchel reimplimented with Chelsea.
Football has changed hell of a lot since Conte won the league at Chelsea.

Put it this way, I wouldn’t want to watch Conte-ball every week.

Keep a close eye on Olise, few times I saw him he looked great and seems a fantastic prospect. Only turned 21 few weeks ago, he’ll go for some 60-70m soon to a bigger team.

penalty to West Ham for sure.....Struijk got Bowen's foot even though the ref played the advantage

How are West Ham 19th?!
And deservedly too, them and Soton were comfortably the two worst sides in the league this year.

Spurs look so shit. Palace all over them. Vieira deserves so much credit for what he built there and how he manages this team.

So fecking glad we waited to sack OGS or we would be playing the same boring shite

I've called plenty of things wrong before but yeah I was against Conte as Utd manager from the start.

The football his teams play is dogshit, couldn't stand to watch this every week.

If you are ever struggling to sleep, just watch this Spurs team play. Absolute snoozefest of a side.

Olise is super talented. Surprised he was never rumored for right wing for us, especially if that 35 million release clause is real. Obviously still inexperienced and not super productive yet but he's not much rawer than Antony and is certainly more two-footed (I like Antony to be clear). Don't think we'll go for him if we bring Amad back unless ETH sees Amad as a 10.

They don't even score a ton but Eze, Zaha and Olise are so fun to watch together in full flow. Too bad they have to play with Jordan Ayew.

Palace needs to find a striker that can score some goals. They are playing well just can’t score. You put a decent striker in that team and they could compete for conference or EL. Someone like Ivan Toney and they would be a really good team.

Spurs should just concede. Maybe that will make Conte have them attack

Ayew should never the number 9. A non scoring striker should never touch that number

Not sure if he has signed a new deal yet, but it was reported his original deal include a release fee of £35m.

Conte doesn’t look like he wants to be there

Does Eze just look really good or is he really good? I hardly watch Palace but he’s shown loads of beautiful touches, dribbles well, seems to use the ball intelligently…wonder how high he could go?
