Does anyone else feel there's so much more whining than normal to the refs this season?
Kane is always starting to dive before a player comes near him.
That could easily be a red

If he caught him properly it's a red all day long but I'm not sure the outcome of the tackle should change the card. You can't jump in 2 footed like that anymore and I think he's lucky

It’s a difficult one, because on the flip side you can argue that he didn’t really touch him at all, and given the nature of the tackle, he was in control and knew what he was doing. Any mistimed or misjudged tackle can lead to serious injury, sometimes you have to trust the players judgement - they are the professionals who practice this stuff every day.

I'm not sure though. Remember that tackle on Harvey Elliott were the ref gave a red just because his leg broke? I don't think the outcome of the tackle should effect the card. But that 2 footed jump is defo a red if he caught him yet only a yellow because he just missed him? I'm just not sure that's how it should be reffed if they want that cut out. But I can see the other side of it as well
