Premier League - Gameweek 16

Eliot Anderson has been a terrific signing for Forest from Newcastle.
Puts in telling crosses.

This league is mental. Going to grounds like Forest, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford, Brighton this season looks tough for even the top teams.

Chelsea have a better chance of challenging for the title than Arsenal, the gunners look cooked. Can't score against an Everton side that even we put 4 past! Can't win a title on corners alone!

I still wouldn't put it past City to go on the customary post-Christmas doom run and end up with the title yet again.
They won't, mate, not this season. I'm sure their form will pick up and they'll start winning the games that they expect to win, but they don't look capable of going on one of their 10/12/14 game winning runs this season. Too many teams smell blood with them and have weak links to target this season.

He’s also won about half of City’s major trophies (top league, both domestic cups, any European cup comp) in their entire history (*)… 90%+ of City fans are babies.

(*stats helped by the fact they’ve been complete and utter w@nk for most of their history).
They also have a lot of trophies so maybe it is the team needs a bit of an overhaul.

True but neither of the City fans alive strike me as particularly sentimental or patient.

One big chance all game is what Arsenal created according to the stats. Having seen Everton recently in Old Trafford that is very poor from Arsenal.

Have no doubt before the season started Chelsea's objective was a top 4 finish but now find themselves in a more favorable position than expected

Antonee Robinson from Fulham looks like a really strong left back. If he plays like today I would not mind seeing him in Manchester United.

He's one of the best left backs in the league currently. He'd make a terrific signing for us. We were actually linked to him a month or so ago along with Liverpool and City. I doubt Fulham would sell him in winter

Not on the wind up here but shocking result today for you. We put 4 past Everton the other week.

Do you think it’s a mentality thing? Arsenal should be all over the league this year yet it seems every time there’s an opportunity you stutter. Must be tough to take given how close you’ve been.
Indeed if you put 4 past them, we should have won this game 8-0 at the very least.I think it's a mentality thing, we are very fragile and soft. We should be winning the league, no excuses, especially after spending 700 or 800m. We keep stuttering and it has been incredibly tough to take. I feel very bad and i am very sad to have been so close and yet so far.
Maybe we should sack Arteta, what do you think ?

Ten Hag is available.

In all seriousness I'd much rather see you guys win it than City or (God forbid) Liverpool. Hope Arteta can turn it around for this reason.

Ed Sheeran's stupid face and the horrendously clunky references to his song titles need to feck the feck off.
Is this is what eveyone would have said back when Elton John’s face was at every Watford match years ago if social media and forums were a thing ? I recall that being a pretty cool thing not a slagfest. I think Sheeran is an ok guy.
