Premier League - Gameweek 16

Makes sense to me, though Arsenal being great the last 2 seasons does a lot of heavy lifting here. Neither you nor Arsenal have been good enough so far to think either could truly challenge Liverpool for the title, but with Arsenal there's always the possibility things fall into place and they go back to last season's level. Whereas with Chelsea, you need to trust the combination of Sanchez being good + luck to keep the GA manageable - you are a bad defensive team - and Nico Jackson to continue scoring his chances

You can see why it's easier to believe that?

In all honesty, I expect Liverpool to run away with the title
I agree that Liverpool are big favourites but disagree that we are a 'bad' defensive team, thats hyperbole- we are joint 3rd in the league for least goals against in a league of 20 teams so cant classify as bad.

What we are is ok defensively, and its unlikely to be enough to win the title, but 4 points clear in second nearly half way in is a dream compared to what was expected at Chelsea this season.

So close from where we are to 5th. Bournemouth have the chance to go above city.

Turned sky on for the footy and all they're doing is banging on about Liverpool. The feck?
They will do since their top of the league. I remember the season they was suppose to have won the quadruple and that’s all we heard about…. And then got knocked out of everything.

You have conceded more goals than you have played games and are overperforming your xGA at that too. Check the xGA, you're giving up more and better chances than manchester united, a side that until a month ago played a donut formation...

You are bad at defending. Big part of it is by design - your attack is the best in the league -, but that doesn't really change it

You being the 3rd best defence in the league means there's only 2 defences that aren't bad right now

Why is he flapping his arms around there?

Only two teams have conceded fewer than Manchester United. Figure that one out.

Just don't think the slightest of brushes of an arm at the edge of the box should decide a game. I'd go indirect frees for all handballs unless it's clearly stopping a goal.

Gavisconana in goal. Easy.

How one can be so good at stopping goals yet so bad at gifting them simultaneously is the real question!
