Premier League - Gameweek 16

Back on the meds this season. A man down and still running around fresh as.. after 55 minutes this half

Amazed they finally called time before they scored again

They dropped their last game as well. They're not all that great.

It's the same game as under Klopp, relentless intensity spamball, always someone there to pick up the second ball. Not sure if it's by pure luck or by design. But what gets them through is the physical intensity they maintain for the whole game. It's remarkable how they are able to keep it up, I guess the 5 subs helps the lads with asthma plenty of recovery time.

They haven't had a blip yet, I think they usually have a mini one around Dec-Jan. It'll be interesting to see what happens when they do and how they react and recover.

Arteta is a serial loser. Liverpool is lucky to be in a title race against this Arsenal.

I think they've lost too many times already to win the league this year.

They've still got a chance if it's low 80s to win although their defensive structure is more like a bottom six team currently so Pep going to need a masterstroke idea to solve that.

What's clear is you won't need 90-91 points to win the title this season, will be significantly lower than that.

If they drop points vs Spurs next week, that would be the third game in a row they do so that's a blip for them. I do think they'll drop to Spurs.

It's Spurs.

They're not going to beat Liverpool when they want the manager sacked.

Antonee Robinson from Fulham looks like a really strong left back. If he plays like today I would not mind seeing him in Manchester United.

Spurs game raising for a big game before reverting to the norm the next game would be the most Spursy thing to do.

Yep. The blip is coming.

Problem is Arsenal aren't in a position to capitalise. They need to be near perfect from January.

I still wouldn't put it past City to go on the customary post-Christmas doom run and end up with the title yet again.
Normally I'd say the same, they're capable of going on 12 games winning run or something like that but not sure this season. They weren't that convincing even before this current run of bad results and being without Rodri whole season probably makes them much weaker. May finish 4th which would be lowest under Guardiola and since 15/16 season.

Forest vs Villa in 10 minutes. Potential winner of the game would move up to 4th place.

We’ve been near perfect for two seasons running, but City were absolute cyborgs. Now they’ve imploded and we’ve decided to be good Samaritans and keep them company.

I’m not convinced a team with Sanchez in goal can win the league.

How annoying is it when you see teams play really well against us and then rubbish the week after..: forest.

True enough.

Doesn't get more Spursy than that.

But they have Utd on Thursday, so they'll raise their game for that, then bend over and lube themselves up for Sunday.

I think we’re so used to seeing our lot walk and jog around the pitch for 90mins that when we see other teams busting a gut and leaving it all out on the pitch we think it’s some sort of sorcery.

This Morgan Rodgers fella doesn’t look too bad. Always look to create something when he has the ball.

I mean it could be. We’ll see after Spurs but we’ve set up a big enough lead that two draws aren’t the end of the world.
Thank feck we’re up against a new Chelsea and arsenal under Arteta. Two draws in a race with city would feel like the world is collapsing.
