Premier League Festive Season

Burnley scares the feck out of me from that lot.
Same. The others are what you would call difficult games and we're normally fine in those ones. I can't believe how bad we've been in the last two games. We've dropped off a lot since everyone came back from the first lockdown. Pretty sure our form is patchy at best since then.

Liverpool had a lot of good chances, Salah with 2 clear chances. One save, the other was a total miss. No dive nor lucky bounce tonight for Liverpool. Nobody to blame but themselves. Newcastle had a tremendous defensive effort, but Liverpool were wasteful. TAA didn't have good service when you consider how much cross volume he has.

Not only are we getting closer, but City too. Give it a few weeks and they’ll be right back in the mix, if they can play their games!

We're all inconsistent this season. Anything can happen. United need to just take it one game at a time.

Yep. Bailed them out. But they now have Thiago back.

The way this season has gone with the twists and turns, it's going to take a team that hits consistency in March and April that will win the title.
part of me feels that Liverpool will still win the league, but not at a canter like last season.

Liverpool are absolutely nothing special away from home. They've been pretty shit away in almost every game.

If we could beat them at Anfield and their aura at home goes then it's really on.

Liverpool have only known one challenger for the league title in 2014, 2019 and 2020. It might be a different team this season, but odds are City will be our challengers again considering they're only one point behind ( with games in hand).

Who was your league challenger in 2009 just out of interest?
