Premier League 14/1/25 - 20/1/25

It's just people trying to jinx the other way. If you look at this title race objectively, with how poor all the top teams have been, pretty much anyone can win this title.
I'd agree anyone could win it if Liverpool didn't have a good buffer and game in hand vs Everton who Liverpool have an exceptional record against

If the current score holds, it's 6 points with 18 matches left, including Liverpool vs Arsenal. Saying it's over already is absolutely ridiculous.
The question is will Arsenal or Forest or anyone go on a run. Arsenal don't look like they have that in them currently. Forest look good now but can they sustain it? We've opened up a very healthy points total which has allowed some room for error.

There is a limit to that though and honestly if we lose tonight, it starts to look more like a race.

I think people think this not because Liverpool won't drop more than enough points to be caught, but because no one below is capable of capitalising on the dropped points.

Form is never permanent, just because Liverpool have been consistent and others inconsistent so far does not mean it won't flip. It happens most seasons that form differs.

Yep. Forest and Arsenal will drop loads of points. If it was City closer then it would be interesting but not them two.

Liverpools game in hand is at Goodison where they've won something like two of their last ten games or so. Either way, if they do lose tonight, that lead has evaporated down to 6 points.

Danny Ings on for West Ham.

Wtf is going on with his hair, it's like he's sporting some weird combover.

You know who I'm most concerned about? City.
Was just going to say this. Even with far behind they are and with how crap they've been, with how poor everyone ahead of them is, they still have it in them to go on a run if they can bring in just about any DM in January.

embarrassing from savinho, who'd have thought that cheats would play for cheats.

Too soon. In a month, maybe.
Lets say this all stays the same tonight. They're 9 points behind (having played a game more) with a lot of points still to play for. They have form when it comes to going on winning runs. We draw at Brentford, they beat Ipswich. It's 7 points.

Sky sports would think you foden has scored the goal of the century. Every goal scores in the live score show is a worldie and amazing and unreal and the greatest ever.

I don't think they're going on any crazy runs this year somehow.

not sure they'll have to. i can see all the teams dropping plenty of points so dont think its going to be one that needs a massive 10 game winning streak or anything.

Reminds me of the Leicester and city game. Leicester dominating but not scoring then city got a 2nd.
