Premier League 14/1/25 - 20/1/25

I know he's an ex player but thought he left amicably and did well when he played for them. Seems weird unless something happened?
I think the hate goes both ways. Martinez also always seems to do his best to rile up the Arsenal fans when they face each other. Plus, the man isn't exactly likeable unless you support Argentina or Villa

Spent 2 years talking about how Villa was a step-up from Arsenal in every interview. He was salty he didnt get the job after a good 6 months.

Fair enough! He has a point in terms of being salty considering you signed Ramsdale.

I was shocked to see that xG. I didn't see much in the 2nd half to explain that xG unless they had a great first half
1.54 vs 1.86

I didn't watch the game to comment but maybe Nunez goals were tap ins?

He was a rare sellable asset at the time, everyone else was deadwood. A necessary sale with no regrets.

Is this Arsenal frontline of Martinelli, Trossard, Havertz actually worse than ours?

What’s your ideal starting front line? Garnacho, Holland and Amad? I’d say the Arsenal trio is slightly better but Amad is the best of the entire group.

Why is the stadium announcer copying what european announcers do by repeating players names?

Some terrible defending from Maatsen. Behind the attacker, poorly positioned to deal with cross and man, flat footed.

Even with all their missing players, Arsenal continuing to get the results and stay in touch at the top.

On current form probably Bruno, Zirkzee, Amad.

As we have scored the most goals in the league so probably not.

Id take Amad over Havertz easily though.
A) No you haven't. B) Corners and Saka are probably responsible for 80% of the goals you have scored.

Do you think Arsenal deserve to win the league more than Liverpool based on the season so far?
Whoever wins it at the end of the season deserves it. People keep writing off Arsenal but despite the current injuries and their extremely poor form, they're still staying in touch at the top.
